What people love about Morocco Tours for Young Adults
- Northern Morocco: Blue Cities & Bustling Marrakech
Our tour guide Said was amazing! He went above and beyond to provide a great experience for us and was super friendly and informative. However, some of the hotel accommodations were a little lacking, especially the one we stayed in at chefchaouen. They weren’t expected to be stellar, but the bathroom in one of our rooms was completely non-usable even after they tried to fix it (shower had no water, toilet did not flush). Tour still deserves 4 stars tho for the awesome tour guide, great transport shuttle, and amazing experience!
- Essential Morocco
So awesome! Casablanca was not that great but all the rest was really cool. The highlights were definitely Fez and the night camping in the Sahara.
- Exotic Morocco (4 Star Hotels)
An amazing tour! Had heaps of fun with a great bunch of people, sleeping by the desert, camel trekking and kasbahs were all charming. Good services overall, would recommend to anyone.
What our customers ask about Morocco Tours for Young Adults
What are the best places for young travelers to visit in Morocco?
Young travelers will find lively experiences in several key destinations across Morocco. The winding blue streets of Chefchaouen offer endless photo opportunities while the Sahara Desert draws adventurers for camel rides and overnight camping. The old medina of Fes lets you step back in time through its maze-like souks and the energy of Marrakech's Djemaa el-Fna square comes alive at night with street performers and food stalls. Places to stay range from modern spots like the Opera Plaza Hotel in Marrakech to desert experiences at camps like Yasmina Luxury Camp in Merzouga. As one TourRadar traveler shared: "Trip highlights were definitely the Blue City Sahara Desert experience and exploring Fes medina with our wonderful guide."
What's the best time of year for young adults to visit Morocco?
Spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) provide the most comfortable weather for exploring Morocco. During these months Marrakech and coastal towns like Essaouira see temperatures around 70-75°F. These conditions work well for walking through markets visiting historic sites and enjoying outdoor cafes. The Sahara Desert is also pleasant during these seasons. Summer brings intense heat over 100°F which can make desert excursions and city walks challenging. As one TourRadar traveler noted "Visiting in April was perfect - warm enough for desert camping but cool enough to explore cities comfortably."
What kind of accommodation can young adults expect on Morocco tours?
Your nights in Morocco will vary from modern hotels to traditional houses and desert camps. Many stays include places like the Zalagh Kasbah Hotel in Marrakech with its rooftop pool. In the Sahara near Merzouga you'll sleep in well-equipped Berber tents under clear desert skies. Fes offers stays in riads - historic homes turned boutique hotels within the old city walls. As one TourRadar traveler mentioned "The mix of accommodation was perfect - modern hotels in cities and authentic camping in the desert created unforgettable memories."
How much spending money should I budget per day as a young traveler in Morocco?
Plan for $30-50 USD daily beyond tour costs when visiting Morocco. This covers meals not in your tour package which run $5-15 USD. Activities like surf lessons in Essaouira cost around $25-30 USD. Shopping in markets will add to expenses but prices are often negotiable. According to a TourRadar traveler review: "I spent around $1000 over 11 days including souvenirs food and optional activities - Morocco isn't as cheap as it appears but still very affordable for young travelers."
What are the best adventure activities for young adults in Morocco?
Active travelers find plenty to do across Morocco's varied landscapes. The Sahara offers camel rides and sandboarding near Merzouga. Coast towns Taghazout and Essaouira have great surf spots for all levels. The High Atlas Mountains provide hiking trails around Imlil while Todra Gorge attracts rock climbers. As one TourRadar traveler noted: "The highlights were definitely the desert camel ride at sunset learning to surf in Essaouira and hiking through the stunning Atlas Mountains. You get such a diverse mix of adventures in one trip."
Is Morocco safe for young solo travelers?
Morocco welcomes solo travelers with organized tours providing an extra layer of security and local knowledge. Tour guides help visitors understand cultural customs navigate cities and stay comfortable throughout their trip. Companies like G Adventures report that 80% of their Morocco travelers come solo. As one TourRadar traveler shared: "I felt completely safe traveling Morocco with our guide Mustapha. He helped us understand local customs advised on appropriate dress and made sure we were comfortable exploring different areas."
