What people love about Eurovision Tours
- Backroads to Venice
Riding bikes through Italy is always going to be great, yet this trip exceeded our expectations. The scenery changed daily and provided hotels comfortable. The bikes were well maintained and perfect for touring. The luggage transfers worked perfectly and had always arrived before we had. The navigation was tricky at times yet mostly very good. It helped to have a couple of people keep an eye on things and not just rely on one person. Self guided travel is one of my favourite ways to see a place.
- Via Degli Dei: Bologna to Florence
The perfect way to find the real Italy. This self-guided adventure was a joy from start to finish. As well as the fun of exploring Bologna and Florence, the real beauty of this hike was the amazing sites along the way. Each day of walking was not overly difficult (The luggage transfer service made it even easier!), and took us through breathtaking landscapes and delivered us to delicious food in a range of trattorias and accommodations. The hotels were carefully selected and a surprising highlight and the app provided made navigation a breeze. For anyone wanting to try a multi-day hike, this is an excellent place to start.
What our customers ask about Eurovision Tours & Trips
When is the best time to take a Eurovision tour?
Plan your Eurovision tour between April and October when the weather is at its best. The Austrian Lakes Walk shines from May through September with mild temperatures of 59-77°F (15-25°C). If you're looking at the Moselle Bike Path, know that July and August get busy and warm up to 77-86°F (25-30°C). One of our travelers loved their September trip, saying "September offered perfect hiking weather with clear skies for amazing mountain views."
What fitness level do I need for a Eurovision tour?
You'll need average fitness for most Eurovision tours - think being comfortable walking or biking for 4-6 hours a day. On the Burgundy Vineyard Trails, you'll walk 10-13 miles daily with some hills up to 1,640 feet. The Belgian bike routes are easier, covering 19-40 miles each day on flat ground. A recent traveler shared: "The level of riding was on the high end of medium difficulty. We could not have completed the 320km in 6 days without the e-bikes."
How much money should I budget daily for a Eurovision tour?
Tours typically cost between 121-298 USD per day, with most around 190-230 USD. This covers your room, breakfast, and basic tour costs. Set aside extra for lunch (15-20 USD), dinner (25-35 USD), getting around town (10-15 USD), and visiting attractions (50-75 USD total). At places like Villa Costa Verde in Viladesuso, travelers tell us they spend 20-40 USD on really good local meals.
What are the rooms like on Eurovision tours?
You'll stay in a mix of places, from cozy family-run hotels to upscale properties. In the Loire Valley, you might find yourself at places like The Dalesman Inn in Sedbergh, where you can enjoy local beers in a true English country setting. Or in Italy, you could wake up at the Palazzo Vecchio with views of Venice's Grand Canal. The hotels are picked because they're well-located and close to Eurovision events.
How much can I pack for a Eurovision tour?
Each tour has its own luggage rules, but you can usually bring one bag weighing 44-55 pounds (20-25kg). The Berlin Wall Trail Cycle lets you bring two 33-pound (15kg) bags, while the Via Francigena tour allows one 44-pound (20kg) bag no bigger than 65x50x40cm. One traveler suggested: "packing light and bringing a separate daypack for essential items during daily activities."
What travel arrangements are included in Eurovision tours?
Your tour usually covers moving your bags between hotels (one bag up to 44 pounds/20kg), plus key transfers like getting from Palermo airport to Mazara del Vallo in Sicily. Some tours include train rides, ferry trips, and cable car tickets - like the Berlin to Copenhagen tour that covers train travel between cities. Travelers often mention that getting around is smooth and comfortable.
