- Surprising Laos Adventure Trekking Tour from Vientiane via Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang with Homestay
Best Laos Tour !!! It’s really not easy to write comprehensive words as well as praise enough for what Viet Long travel did make our trip in Laos for 9 days. Impressively Ms. Ha quickly responded to our inquiry with a tour program in which she engaged almost best highlights of each country such as Vientiane, Vang Vieng, Luang Prabang … our 3-star hotels are all centrally located and highly ranked on the tripadvisor and their services were just incredible. All guides are so friendly and speaking fluent English, drivers are always punctual & smiley. We had another free upgrade for hotel in Luang Prabang which is totally brilliant for our 3-night stay. We will definitely use Vietlong again for our next journeys and recommend our friends to use it!!!

Adventure tours in Laos pack in outdoor activities for every interest level. Travelers can trek to the 100 Waterfalls near Nong Khiaw explore the ziplines at Nahm Dong Park paddle the Nam Ou River and walk through coffee plantations on the Bolaven Plateau. The experience includes stays in traditional village homes and boat rides on the Mekong River. As one traveler noted "The trek to 100 Waterfalls was challenging but incredibly rewarding with amazing views and refreshing swims in natural pools along the way."
What kind of accommodation can I expect on a Laos Adventure tour?
The accommodations range from established hotels like Villa Saykham in Luang Prabang to simple village homestays. Travelers stay at riverside lodges such as the Nong Kiau Riverside Bungalows along the Nam Ou River and comfortable resorts like Sabaidee Valley in the Bolaven Plateau region. A past guest shared: "The mix of accommodation was perfect - from comfortable hotels to basic but charming homestays that gave us a real insight into local life."
How physically demanding are Adventure tours in Laos?
Most Laos adventure tours need moderate fitness. Daily activities often include 4-6 hour walks to sites like Tad Mork waterfall treks between northern highland villages and climbing attractions like the 328 steps up Mount Phousi in Luang Prabang. Some routes such as the Northern Laos Hike & Homestays include steeper climbs with 250m elevation gains.
