What people love about Active Tours in Turkey
- Classic Istanbul Mini Adventure
The tour was such a great experience. The CEO and the people in the tour were fantastic companion for the tour. I would highly recommend it as I had an amazing time!
- Highlights of Turkey
Atahan really knew his ancient history he was very professional and the tour ran very smoothly The mic in the bus was sometimes not so clear to hear but when on the ancient sites it became clear as to what Atahan was saying It was a bit rushed in places we did not have enough time to visit a museum in Selcuk but managed to just make the castle and fort I think it needs to be a 17 day tour where we have a guided walk around Istanbul as well as enough time in Selcuk My main criticism was a bit to much time for lunch in restaurants where a simple light snack would have been enough Atahan was very helpful in explaining food items and menu choices This was my first time using Exodus and I would highly recommend them.
- The Aegean Legacy
It is worth taking the extra day in Istanbul at the start, and maybe more than one as there is a lot to see which is not on the tour and it is great place to just wander around. We were disappointed that between visiting the archaeological sites, which were sometimes a bit rushed, we were used as a captive audience for carpet and leather salesman. If someone in your group shows any interest then be prepared to hang around for ages while they attempt to close the sale. We would have preferred to have had a little longer in bed.
