What people love about Hiking & Trekking Tours in Turkey
- Hiking Turkey's Lycian Way
This tour was incredible, one of the best experiences of my life. Accomodation and transport were as described so keep in mind the village stays etc as outlined in the tour info. Hosts (Turkish people) were always so hospitable, and food was always plentiful. Our guide was excellent!! The walks were awesome, I did find the uphills challenging, but the pace was decent, so I was always ready and able to go again. The final walking day includes a boat ride and swimming, it was the best feeling in the world. I would also like to add that costs in the tour are minimal, I spent so little while on it, it was a real bonus.
- Walking Turkey's Turquoise Coast
We booked a walking holiday that was rated easy. The walks were really interesting and the distances were not too long. The underfoot terrain was very rough and made for hard going. When we walked the aqueduct, there were very severe drops to one side. With uneven tracks, the potential for a catastrophic fall was evident. I felt uncomfortable on more than one occasion, even though it was a walk I wanted to do. PS The meal at the village was excellent
- The Heritage Trail of Efeler
Efeler is more than a classic trail. It is a cultural road, a unique culture of the Aegean reagon visiting mountain villages and wonderfully scenic mountains. The trail is sometimes challenging for me. To walk lightly and with good equipment is critical. Also to use a local travel agent is important, because the trail signs are not fully applied yet.

What are the best regions and trails for hiking in Turkey?
Turkey's hiking landscape spans three distinct regions each offering unique experiences for outdoor enthusiasts. The 500km Lycian Way stretches from Antalya to Fethiye combining coastal paths ancient ruins and mountain vistas. In central Turkey Cappadocia's Rose Valley and Red Valley present otherworldly rock formations and historical cave churches. The verdant Black Sea region features the Kamilet Valley and Storm Valley where dense forests meet mountain streams.
