What people love about New Delhi to Kathmandu Tours
- Amazing India with Nepal Tour
it was an impressive tour. our driver was always helpful. guides are full of knowledge. it was an unforgettable experience hotels selection are good.
- Best of North India and Nepal
Our 20-day tour of North India and Nepal was private. My husband and I had the same driver, Shakir, for 11 days and a tour guide in each city. However, in Pushkar, our driver was our tour guide. We love our driver, but his job differs from a tour guide's. IMPORTANT: We had to pay all entrance fees to the temples, forts, and museums listed in the tours' descriptions/itinerary, which was not clearly explained in the travel itinerary—budget to pay an extra $30-$50 US dollars. Hotels with breakfasts, drivers, and tour guides are paid for in the tour cost. We tipped our tour guide in each city, which they expected and, in one case, demanded tips. Also, please be aware that most tour guides would take you to a place of their choosing to shop because they have a prearrangement for a kickback of as much as 30%. We have learned a hard lesson about buying overpriced items from some places. We highly recommend knowing how to dress for religious places and the cost ahead for each site-seeing place. For instance, in Delhi, the tour guide told us that women are required to wear a burqa, and when I checked with the guard and online, there was no such requirement, only to cover arms and head because of that. I didn't go to the mosque but wanted to tour a Muslim mosque in India. Overall, we had a fantastic time because we upgraded all our hotels to 4 or 5 stars, which helped to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. Breakfast was always a spread, so we usually skipped lunch. The staff at all the hotels are super nice, accommodating, and friendly. It was a wonderful experience at all the hotels. Despite minor flaws, our three weeks of exploring the Rajasthani states was a terrific experience. The upgrade to 4 or 5-star hotels, the delightful breakfast spreads, and the warm hospitality of the hotel staff all contributed to making our stay enjoyable and relaxing.
- India Golden Triangle Tour with Nepal
My recommendation for the Golden Triangle tour with Nepal. If you want to see the most in the shortest amount of time, this is the tour for you. The hotels are good, the guides and drivers experienced and always ready to help. Everything was in best order, from the beginning, all the way to the return back home. Mister Prakash contacted us frequently to check if everything was in order. Although the whole crew was excellent, we have to give special praise to our drivers in Nepal (sadly I forgot the gentlemans name), as well as India - mister Malik. We also want to give special praise to our guide, mister Ravi.
