  • Days 1-2

    Bishkek & Chong-Kemin Valley

    Begin your journey in Bishkek before traveling to Chong-Kemin Valley. Visit Burana Tower on the way. Get there in the early morning to take photos before tour buses show up. You can stay at a local-run guesthouse in Ashuu village where you'll get amazing valley views as the sun sets.

    
  • Days 3-4

    Song Kul Lake & Tamga

    The 4-hour drive to Song Kul Lake takes you up to 3,016m. Bring altitude sickness medication since headaches are common at this height. You'll sleep in traditional yurts and get a taste of real nomadic life. The next day, stop in Kochkor to see felt-making workshops on your way to Tamga village near Lake Issyk-Kul.

    
  • Days 5-6

    Karakol & Jeti-Oguz

    Karakol makes a good base for exploring the area. Check out the Russian Orthodox Church and Chinese-built Dungan Mosque. Take a trip to see the "Broken Heart" and "Seven Bulls" red rocks in Jeti-Oguz Gorge. Make sure to wear good hiking shoes since the trails can get slippery.

    
  • Days 7-8

    Kazakhstan (Saty & Almaty)

    After crossing into Kazakhstan (budget 1-2 hours for border crossing) head to Saty Village in Kolsay Lakes National Park. Take a Russian 4x4 to explore the sunken forest at Kaindy Lake. It's about 4 hours to Almaty via Charyn Canyon. If the weather's good climb Green Hill for nice city views.

    
  • Days 9-11

    Dushanbe & Fann Mountains

    Book an afternoon flight to Dushanbe to avoid morning traffic. The drive to Iskanderkul Lake offers stunning mountain views and you can hike to nearby waterfalls. Stay with local families in Gazza Village. As one visitor said, "experiencing local living as well as local foods" was unforgettable.

    
  • Days 12-14

    Khujand & Tashkent

    Visit the lively market in Khujand (bring small USD bills as vendors often accept them) before entering Uzbekistan. Finish your trip in Tashkent where you'll see an interesting mix of Soviet and modern architecture. Plan some extra time between flights as delays are common.

  • Days 1-2

    Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

    Begin your journey in Jeddah on the Red Sea. Visit Al-Balad (UNESCO-listed old town) in the evening when it's cooler and the coral houses shine under the night lights. Head to the corniche at sunrise to see the King Fahd Fountain, the world's tallest. Want to experience local life? Visit the fish market between 6-8 AM when restaurants get their daily catch.

    Medina & Buraidah

    Take the 4-hour drive to Medina. Women need loose clothing and headscarves. Visit the Prophet's Mosque between prayer times to avoid crowds. In Buraidah, get to the camel market before 7 AM to see the main trading action.

    Riyadh

    You'll need two full days to see the capital properly. Visit the Kingdom Centre around 10 AM after the morning haze clears. The Al Rajhi Mosque is best at sunset prayer time when the main congregation gathers. A recent visitor shared: "The Riyadh Boulevard is best experienced after 7 PM when temperatures drop and locals come out for evening entertainment."

    
  • Days 7-8

    Al-Hofuf & Dammam

    Start with Ibrahim Palace in Al-Hofuf before it gets too hot. The Al Qara caves stay around 25°C all year, perfect for afternoon visits. Watch traditional performances at Dammam's Heritage Village during sunset.

    Bahrain & Doha

    Get an early start to cross the causeway to Bahrain before the border gets busy. Walk through Muharraq historic district in the morning. Take an evening flight to Doha. The Museum of Islamic Art is quieter during late afternoon visits until its 7 PM closing time.

    
  • Days 11-12

    Doha to Dubai

    See Doha's Falcon Souq in the morning when traders are busy. Book an evening flight to Dubai to see the city lights on arrival. The Dubai Fountain shows start at 6 PM and run every 30 minutes. Get the best view from the Apple Store side.

    Dubai

    Get to the Dubai Frame when it opens at 9 AM to beat the crowds. Take an abra boat ride before noon when the water is calm. Save JBR beach time for late afternoon when it's cooler and perfect for sunset photos.

  • Days 1-2

    Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Get to the fish market early on day 2 to see local life unfold.     Medina & Al-Ula

    Travel to Medina, a city that only recently opened to non-Muslims. The Prophet's Mosque complex can hold up to a million visitors so get there early to beat the crowds. Remember to dress modestly. Take a drive through the desert to Al-Ula the next day. Stop at Elephant Rock (Jabal Al Fil) when the sun sets for the best photos with dramatic shadows.

    
  • Days 5-6

    Tabuk & Riyadh

    See the ancient Nabataean site of Hegra before flying to Riyadh. Visit the National Museum in the morning when it's quiet. Plan your evening around the Riyadh Boulevard. The fountains and restaurants make it worth spending 2-3 hours there after dark.

    
  • Days 7-8

    Al-Hofuf & Dammam

    Visit Al-Ahsa Oasis, home to 3 million date palms. See Ibrahim Palace in the early morning to avoid midday heat. The Heritage Village in Dammam is perfect for late afternoon visits when the temperature drops and the light is good for photos.

    
  • Days 9-10

    Bahrain & Doha

    Take the 25km Friendship Bridge to Bahrain. Walk through Muharraq's historic district early in the day. Fly to Doha next and cool off at the Museum of Islamic Art during the hot afternoon. Dress appropriately when visiting mosques.

    
  • Days 11-14

    Dubai

    Finish your trip in Dubai. Start at Al Fahidi district before it gets too hot. Visit the Dubai Frame near sunset for the best views. Take an early morning monorail ride to Palm Jumeirah when it's less busy. Watch the Dubai Fountain show in the evening to wrap up your trip.
