  • Days 1-2

    Athens

    Get to the Acropolis by 8:30 AM to avoid crowds and heat. One traveler said: "Pack good walking shoes. You'll be doing 10-20 km walks daily on uneven ancient stones."     Mykonos

    Paros

    A 30-minute ferry ride takes you to peaceful Paros. The port town of Naoussa is perfect for exploring on foot. A recent visitor noted: "Paros was unexpectedly my favorite—less touristy than Mykonos but with better beaches. Rent a quad bike to explore Kolimbithres Beach and the mountain village of Lefkes."     Santorini

    Most travelers' favorite stop. Stay in Fira for a central location and better prices than Oia.     Return to Athens

    Instead of the 8-hour ferry ride consider flying back (45 minutes, around €100) to make the most of your time. Spend your last afternoon walking through the Plaka neighborhood.   • Day 1

    Athens Arrival

    A private transfer will meet you at Athens International Airport. Try to book afternoon flights to avoid morning traffic in Athens.     Athens Exploration

    Santorini to Athens

    Santorini

    Return to Santorini
