3 Days in Nusa Penida, incl. Kelingking Beach and Diamond Beach
The 3-day Indonesian island tour covers Denpasar, Nusa Penida, and Sanur. Day one showcases Diamond Beach and Thousand Islands Viewpoint, followed by Kelingking Beach and Crystal Bay on day two, concluding with the secluded Tembeling waterfalls.
- Day 1
Denpasar to North & East Nusa Penida
Get picked up from your Denpasar hotel at 6:30 AM and head to Sanur Harbor. Take the 30-minute fast ferry to Nusa Penida. The morning crossing is usually calmer before the winds pick up. Visit Goa Giri Putri Temple first, then go to Diamond Beach during mid-morning. This timing gives you great photo opportunities without the intense midday heat. "Our driver Kadek assisted in recommending times to start the day to best avoid larger crowds and take photos with the best position of the sun."
- Day 2
West Coast Exploration
Start at 7:30 AM to see Kelingking Beach (T-Rex Beach) before tour buses arrive at 9 AM. The viewing platform fills up quickly. If you want to go down to the beach, be prepared for a steep path that needs good fitness and proper shoes. Next, visit Broken Beach and Angel's Billabong which are within walking distance of each other. End your day at Crystal Bay for snorkeling and sunset. Don't try to drive yourself on the west coast roads. "Some roads are very rough and narrow along cliffsides, so I wouldn't recommend taking your own car or scooter."
- Day 3
Hidden Gems & Return
Start early with Peguyangan Waterfall on the cliff edge. This involves many stairs, so consider Manta Bay snorkeling instead if stairs are difficult. Take a refreshing morning swim at Tembeling Waterfall's natural pools before walking to Tembeling Beach. Take the 5 PM ferry back to Bali to avoid rough afternoon waters. "The island is just beginning to develop its tourism, and the support of an expert local driver makes for a smooth, safe and secure trip."
3 Day Komodo National Park Itinerary, incl. Labuan Bajo and Padar Island
The remarkable 3-day expedition covers 1,817 km² of Komodo National Park, visiting 7 key sites including UNESCO-listed Rinca Island and Padar Island. Visitors travel from Labuan Bajo to Komodo, with sunrise treks, snorkeling with manta rays, and encounters with rare Komodo dragons.
- Day 1
Labuan Bajo to Kanawa Island
Book a morning flight to arrive by 9 AM to get the most out of your first day. Your boat leaves Labuan Bajo harbor around 10 AM and heads to Kanawa Island for snorkeling in vibrant coral reefs. In the afternoon, you'll cruise to Manta Point to snorkel with manta rays. Make sure to wear a rash guard since the sun can be intense. Your day wraps up at Taka Makassar, a beautiful sandbar that's perfect for sunset photos.
- Day 2
Padar Island and Rinca
Set your alarm for 4 AM to hike Padar Island. One traveler shared: "The sunrise hike at Padar offers incredible views of three differently colored beaches, though be prepared for crowds of up to 100 people at the viewpoint." The trail can get slippery and steep, so wear shoes with good grip. After Padar, you'll stop at Pink Beach for snorkeling in clear waters. The afternoon takes you to Rinca Island to spot dragons. Many people find Rinca offers more authentic dragon encounters than Komodo Island. Your day ends at Kalong Island watching thousands of flying foxes take to the sky at sunset.
- Day 3
Kelor Island and Return
The day starts at Kelor Island for morning photos. A recent visitor noted: "Consider skipping Kelor if time is tight – it's mainly a small hill with souvenir shops." You might want to spend more time snorkeling at Manjarite Island instead, known for its beautiful coral gardens and rich marine life. You'll return to Labuan Bajo by early afternoon, around 2 PM. Plan for an evening flight out to avoid rushing.
3 Days in Gili Islands, incl. Gili Trawangan and Gili Meno
A vibrant 3-day Indonesian escape through Denpasar, Gili Trawangan, and Gili Meno. Two nights at Sadev Resort complement snorkeling with turtles, underwater sculpture viewing, and bicycle tours. The trip features beachfront sunsets, local nightlife, and pristine island beaches.
- Day 1
Bali to Gili Trawangan
Your hotel pickup in Bali will be between 6-7 AM for transport to Padang Bay port. The fast boat to Gili Trawangan takes about 90 minutes. Sit on the upper deck for better views and less seasickness. If you get motion sick easily take medication 30 minutes before the trip. After settling into your hotel and getting lunch spend the afternoon exploring the car-free island by bike. A recent visitor shared: "The bike ride along the beach gives you a perfect orientation of the island though you'll need to push the bike through some sandy patches."
- Day 2
Snorkeling Adventure & Island Hopping
Start with an island-hopping snorkeling trip in the morning. The waters between Gili Trawangan and Gili Meno are perfect for spotting sea turtles especially near the seagrass beds. Visit the underwater sculptures at Gili Meno before noon when the water is clearest. Stop for lunch on Gili Meno's peaceful beaches and take time to walk around this small island. On the boat ride back you'll get beautiful views of Mount Rinjani at sunset. For dinner head to the beachfront restaurants and check out Gili's famous nightlife along the main beach strip.
- Day 3
Final Morning & Return to Bali
Get up early for your last morning. The ocean swings make for great photos right after sunrise before the crowds arrive. Take a final swim before 10 AM when the water is calmest. Most hotels have noon checkout followed by the fast boat back to Bali. One visitor noted: "Don't miss taking some final beach snaps on those famous swings but go early to avoid the queues!" If you're flying out of Bali that day book an afternoon flight to allow enough travel time.
What people love about 3 day Indonesia tours
- 3 Days Experience Nusa Penida Island
Nusa Penida was amazing and the hotel was spot on. Just what we needed. After a day of touring going back to our hotel for a swim and a lovely meal was perfect. Definately see Nusa Penida!!!!
- 3D2N Sailing Komodo Flores, Indonesia
I booked this tour in advance of my trip to Indonesia and, quite frankly, got scammed. Most people on the tour booked while they were in Indonesia and paid a third of what I paid. Also, when I arrived on the boat they had over sold the space in the “shared room” so I was given a chair cushion on the floor to sleep on- unacceptable (tour radar was very responsive in getting me a partial refund). Do not book this tour until the company has upgraded their boat. With all that being said, the Komodo Islands are beautiful and well worth a visit and the itinerary of this tour was great. Also, the food was amazing. Everything but the accommodation, but those are a deal breaker.
- Best of Bali Instagram 3 Day Tour (Private & All Inclusive)
ForeverVacation is the best tour provider that we've ever had before. Everything was perfect from beginning to end, our tour was wonderful. Ben was very helpful every step of the way and accommodating when scheduling tours. Our drivers, especially Rudy and Aprio, went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. They were very patient and knowledgeable about where we were going and with taking our pictures and I was apart of a big group. I will definitely use ForeverVacation when I make my way back to Bali.
