    Take the night ferry from Durres to Bari (10 hours). Get a cabin instead of deck seats to sleep better. Spend your next day walking through Bari's old town. Look for street vendors selling local orecchiette pasta in Bari Vecchia.

    Puglia's Treasures

    See the unique trulli houses in Alberobello and explore Matera's cave homes. Book your lunch ahead since restaurants in these UNESCO sites get busy. Drive 3 hours to Salerno for the night.

  • Days 1-2
