14 Day the Philippines Itinerary, incl. Manila and Coron
This extensive 14-day tour reaches 5 major destinations: Manila, Puerto Princesa's UNESCO Underground River, Port Barton's turtle sanctuaries, El Nido's limestone cliffs, and Coron's crystal lakes. Private island camping, cultural immersion, and local guides enhance the experience.
- Days 1-2
Manila to Puerto Princesa
Your journey starts with a dinner at a rooftop restaurant in Manila overlooking the city lights. Next morning you'll fly to Puerto Princesa in Palawan. Remember to pack light as domestic flights have strict luggage limits. One traveler advises: "The domestic flight luggage limit is strict, so pack light in a carrier rather than a suitcase."
- Days 3-5
Port Barton & Beach Camping
Visit the UNESCO Underground River early in the morning before a 3-hour drive to Port Barton. You'll spend two nights experiencing authentic island life with snorkeling trips to see turtles and coral reefs. Sleep under the stars at a beach camping site. "Watching shooting stars from our beachfront tents was magical," a traveler recalls. Visit a local school and spend time with students - bringing school supplies is a nice way to give back to the community.
- Days 6-9
El Nido
A 4-hour drive takes you to El Nido where you'll spend your days island hopping in the Bacuit Archipelago. Learn traditional skills like coconut climbing and try your hand at Filipino cooking. You can also try the island-to-island zipline for PHP500. Book your activities in the afternoon since morning weather can be unpredictable.
- Days 10-14
Coron
Take the fast ferry to Coron but bring motion sickness pills if you need them. Explore the Twin Lagoon and go snorkeling at WWII shipwrecks. "The Coron extension was worth every penny - the clearest lakes and best snorkeling of the whole trip," shares one traveler. Camp overnight on Pass Island and fill your last days with scuba diving or hiking Mount Tapyas.

"There's limited electricity on the remote islands."

Begin your journey in the capital by exploring Intramuros, the historic walled city. Visit Fort Santiago early at 8 AM to avoid the midday heat. - West Philippines Classic 14 Day - One Life Adventures
Honestly, my friend previously travelled with One Life on their 10 Day Philippines trip and I really didn't believe it was going to live up to the hype. The ability to not only do the 10 days but also continue my travel to Coron with them was unreal! It is an amazing country, and this is the perfect way to do it without having to worry. Transport is sorted, accommodation is sorted and most of your meals as well!! Literally the only thing you need to do is enjoy yourself. I would give it more stars if I was able to!!! Beaches, Camping, Culture, Snorkeling... this trip had it all!! My personal favorite's are Underground River, the island hopping in Port Barton staying on a private beach, the cultural day in El Nido and the island hopping in Coron. I was worried about the night in the Beach huts on Pass Island in Coron but I think that was probably my best highlight of the whole tour!
- Philippines Island Explorer 13 day
I’ve done a couple of tours with INTRO before in Thailand and Bali, and got the opportunity to join them for their first tour of the Philippines with my fiancé. It’s a beautiful country and INTRO delivered (as they always do) with a well-run tour that shows you so much in just 13 days. Lots of snorkelling, lots of beach time in the sun and some real adventure activities like the canyoneering at Kawasan Falls. The 3 day boat expedition between Coron and El Nido was one of those times that I will look back on as my fondest memory though – cruising on our own private boat, island hopping between these uninhabited tiny islands with pure white sand and clear seas and eating incredible food, whilst barely seeing any other people doing the same thing. It really did feel like we were the only people out there at times. I thought the accommodation was good as well throughout, clean and comfy and in some great locations, and the Group Leaders were great like on my previous tours, having such a good knowledge of all things Philippines despite this being the first tour they ran there. 100% recommend this tour!
- North Philippines Explorer
Ronnie, our guide, was absolutely fantastic. Always available and attentive to our needs. He went above and beyond to ensure that the group felt comfortable and his attention to detail was next to none and even by going that extra mile to ensue we tasted the local delicacies. Would highly recommend this tour and hopefully you will have the extra perk of having Ronnie as your guide. Some parts of the itinerary had to be changed but the back-up plan suited everyone and was very enjoyable.
