What people love about South Korea Tours for Couples
- DISCOVERY TOUR: MEMORABLE TRIP TO SOUTH KOREA
The first few days seemed rushed and had very little time at each site but after that the itinerary was much better and didn't as feel rushed. The guides were fantastic and went above and beyond and help us get to place we wanted to see but weren't on the itinerary, which was amazing.
- South Korea Highlights 7D/6N
The tour was a wonderful introduction to Korean culture, Korean food and the country itself. It left me wanting to go back to see and explore more.
- South Korea Circle Adventure 5D/4N
The organisation by the local tour company was good and the local guide excellent. The distances between sites required, out of necessity, some significantly long periods on the road. We appreciate there must be a balance between travel and places visited but perhaps an "extra day' might be something to consider (e.g. perhaps stopping overnight in Haeundae Beach) On balance the locations visited were all of interest although slight individual modifications might be helpful but that comes down to personal preferences (e.g. the winter Olympic site was just to the ski jump slope whereas we might have seen the locations of other of the winter sports). The hotels adopted for the overnight stops were generally well appointed although the Gyeongju hotel was acceptable but not as good as the remaining three So overall we were satisfied, and the tour was to our expectations
What our customers ask about Romantic South Korea Trips & Honeymoon Packages
What's the best time of year for couples to visit South Korea?
Spring and fall are ideal for couples visiting South Korea. From March to May, you'll see cherry blossoms creating magical settings in Gyeongju and Seoul, with mild temperatures around 50-68°F (10-20°C). September to November brings beautiful fall colors, especially in Seoraksan National Park, and comfortable weather between 60-75°F (15-24°C). One TourRadar traveler told us "The spring cherry blossoms around Gyeongbokgung Palace created the perfect atmosphere for our romantic getaway." Many hotels, like the Lotte Hotel Seoul, offer special packages for couples during these peak seasons. Just try to avoid July and August - that's rainy season with lots of humidity.
What are the most romantic spots in South Korea?
You'll find plenty of beautiful places perfect for couples in South Korea. Jeju Island is a favorite with its pretty Seopjikoji coastline and Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. In Gyeongju, couples love walking around Bulguksa Temple in the evening when it's all lit up. The old Bukchon Hanok Village in Seoul is really special too - you can walk hand in hand through streets lined with traditional Korean houses. One TourRadar traveler shared that "the tour was a wonderful introduction to Korean culture and left me wanting to explore more." They especially liked the evening temple walks and coastal views.
What romantic activities can couples do at historic sites?
There are so many special places for couples to explore in South Korea. Take an evening walk around Deoksugung Palace in Seoul when it's beautifully lit up, or spend some quiet time together at Bulguksa Temple in Gyeongju. Many couples love dressing up in traditional hanbok outfits and taking photos in Bukchon Hanok Village. For amazing views, take the cable car ride at Songdo Beach in Busan around sunset. If you want to splurge, the Grand Hyatt in Jeju gets great reviews from couples for its luxury amenities. As one TourRadar traveler said, the evening atmosphere at these historic sites is really magical.
What are the best romantic dining experiences in South Korea?
You'll find lots of cozy dining spots perfect for date night in South Korea. Try Korean barbecue where you can cook together at your table, or head to a rooftop restaurant in Seoul's Gangnam area for city views. The Korea House offers special traditional Korean meals that are great for couples. If you're in Busan, visit Jagalchi Market together to try fresh seafood. For something really special, book a dinner cruise on the Han River in Seoul, or join a traditional tea ceremony. These intimate dining experiences let you share Korean food culture while spending quality time together.
