When is the best time to book a honeymoon tour?

Book your honeymoon 6-8 months before you plan to travel to get the best room choices and experiences. The perfect time to visit depends on where you're going. If you're heading to tropical spots like Sri Lanka, go between November and April when you'll get great beach weather with temperatures around 75-85°F (24-29°C). For places like Greece or Italy, plan your trip from May to October when it's warm and sunny at 70-85°F (21-29°C). One of our travelers told us about their December honeymoon in Dubai: "We chose December when temperatures were a pleasant 75°F (24°C) versus the intense summer heat."

What destinations are most popular for honeymoon tours?

You'll find lots of couples heading to the Greek Islands for beautiful sunsets and nice hotels, or Vietnam for its mix of culture and beach time. Dubai is big with honeymooners who want desert adventures and fancy hotels. Sri Lanka is getting more popular - our travelers love that they can go on safari, visit tea farms, and relax on the beach all in one trip. The Maldives is still a favorite for those beautiful overwater rooms and quiet beaches. What dining experiences are typically included in honeymoon tours?

You'll get to enjoy special meals throughout your trip, from dinner right on the beach to local restaurants. In Vietnam, you can have dinner by candlelight on a bamboo raft in Hoi An. If you're in Dubai, you'll get a nice three-course lunch at the Burj Club Rooftop. Most tours include breakfast at your hotel, like the Le Journey Cruise, plus some extra-special dinners. How many days should we plan for a honeymoon tour?

Most couples choose trips between 5 and 13 days - this gives you enough time to see different places without feeling rushed. For example, if you're going to Japan, you'll want about 13 days to visit Tokyo, Kyoto, and spend some time at the beach. If you're heading to the Seychelles, 5-7 days works well for exploring the islands. One of our travelers suggested "at least 7-10 days to truly unwind and enjoy each destination without rushing."

What's the best time of year to take a honeymoon tour?

It really depends on where you're going. Cape Verde is nice all year with temperatures between 75-85°F (24-29°C). Japan is especially beautiful during cherry blossom season in March and April, or when the leaves change color in October and November. For the Seychelles, aim for April-May or September-October when it's around 82°F (28°C) and the ocean is calm. If Peru is on your list, go during the dry season from April to October - it's perfect for visiting Machu Picchu.

How is leisure time typically included in honeymoon tours?

You'll get a good mix of planned activities and free time to do your own thing. Take the 8-day Greece tour - you get 2-3 free days in Santorini to relax at places like the Chada Lanta Beach Resort. In the Maldives, you'll have several days to spend however you like.
