What people love about Istria Tours
- Parenzana Cycle Trail
Perfect road, good signs, good hotels. Specially the hotel on the top in Motavun was perfect match for our childiredn (with swimming pool). Our luggasges was perfectly transferred and our start-operator had a lot of experience. Orange bikes for Dutch people: perfect match.
- Cycling from Trieste to Pula
We would have preferred to spend the first night in Lucia or Potoroz, Slovenia where there was more choices of restaurants and shops. The hotel Lovac was fine, but there was nothing else around and we were there for two nights. All other hotels were very well chosen. They were nicely situated right were we wanted to be. On last cycling day of our trip we were on gravel roads for about 13kms. That was very worrisome and difficult on road bikes. We were told that we would be giving different directions, but that was not so.
- Istrian wine roads tour
we really loved what we saw of Istria, very green countryside , old villages, vineyards, olive trees and beautiful blue sea! The bikes were excellent and comfortable. The maps and tour information was also excellent. It did have more hills than we expected [ we live in a very flat part of the world] and also roads without cycle paths some of which had a lot of traffic. if we did this trip again we would go for electric bikes.
