  • Day 1

    Izmir to Kusadasi

    Arrive at Izmir's Adnan Menderes Airport and take the 1-hour transfer to Kusadasi. Book morning flights to avoid Izmir's busy afternoon traffic. Take some time to unwind at the Charisma Deluxe Hotel area where you can watch the sunset over the marina. It's a great way to adjust to the time zone while getting some fresh air.

    
  • Day 2

    Kusadasi Exploration

    Head to Ladies Beach (Kadınlar Denizi) early, before 10 AM to find a good spot. Around lunchtime, the beachfront promenade comes alive. Stop by one of the local fish restaurants near the harbor. In the afternoon, visit Pigeon Island (Güvercinada). You can walk there on the causeway. Just make sure to wear good shoes for the fortress climb since the stones can be slick.

    
  • Day 3

    Ephesus Archaeological Site

    This is a must-see on your trip. Leave Kusadasi by 8 AM to avoid the crowds and heat. Start at the upper gate and walk downhill to save your energy. Bring plenty of water and a hat since there isn't much shade. Visit the House of Virgin Mary first when it opens at 8 AM, before the tour buses show up.

    
  • Day 4

    Scuba Diving Day

    Kusadasi offers great diving spots for beginners. The water stays around 75°F (24°C) from June through September, and morning dives usually have better visibility. Visiting in winter? Take a trip to Sirince village instead and sample their well-known fruit wines.

    
  • Day 5

    Jeep Safari Adventure

    Available April through October, the safari takes you through mountain trails and traditional villages, usually including Dilek National Park. Bring a light jacket since mornings can be cool even in summer. A bandana will help with the dusty trails.

    
  • Day 6

    Beach & Market Day

    Visit the Grand Bazaar on Wednesday or Friday morning when it's most active. Afterward, spend time at Long Beach (Uzun Plaj). It's less crowded than the city beaches and great for swimming. The water is usually calmer in the morning. During summer months, you might want to check out Aqua Fantasy waterpark. Book your tickets online to save money.

    
  • Day 7

    Final Morning & Departure

    Plan your airport transfer carefully. The Izmir-Kusadasi highway gets congested between 4-6 PM, so leave at least 3 hours before your flight. Use your last morning to pick up some Turkish Delight from the shops near the cruise port, which open around 8 AM.
