What people love about Self-Guided Tours in Greece
- Greek Island Dream Paros, Naxos & Santorini- 7 Days (Self-Guided Package)
Excellent experience. Highly recommended.
- Best of Greece (15 days) Athens & 4 Islands in 15 days (Self-Guided)
I usually book trips myself, but since working 12+hrs a day, I decided to to give an agency a try. Overall, choosing Dot Travel was a great choice. Pros: Communication: Lighting fast through IM, call, and WhatsApp. Hotels and transfers: The majority of the stays were well chosen. No issues with transfers. Syros: This was an unknown place for me when booking, but has become my favorite stop on the trip. I would never have visited here if it was not for Dot Travel. I could spend another week here! Cons: Optional excursions: These were hit or miss. I'd suggest booking excursions elsewhere. Dot Travel was quick to provide alternative arrangements or refunds when available. Time to port: It's better to be too early than too late, but arriving at port 1.5hr-2hr before departure was a bit much. Especially since ferries are always late.

arrangements worked. Accommodation was excellent

How flexible are the itineraries on self-guided tours in Greece?
Self-guided tours in Greece let you set your own daily pace while maintaining structured travel arrangements between destinations. You'll have scheduled connections between places like Athens and Santorini but freedom to spend your days as you choose. A stay at the Acropolis Hill Hotel in Athens or Belle Etoile Villas in Santorini serves as your base for independent exploration. Recent travelers report seamless experiences with logistics as one TourRadar review notes: "Everything went smoothly from the transfers ferry's hotels etc. We could not have asked for a better time in Mykonos & Santorini."
