3 Days in Kathmandu Valley Rim, incl. Chisapani and Nagarkot
The scenic route covers 30km from Sundarijal through Chisapani (2,165m) to Nagarkot (1,932m). Visit 3 distinct regions: Shivapuri National Park's forests, Tamang villages, and ancient Changunarayan temple, with stunning Himalayan views throughout.
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Chisapani (2,165m)
Take a 45-minute morning drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal through the Bouddhanath area. Your trek starts at the Sundarijal watershed which supplies Kathmandu's drinking water. The trail goes up through pine forests to Burlung Bhanjyang, a Tamang village. "The weather wasn't perfect, but the forest trail was peaceful and the local guide knew exactly when to take breaks on the uphill sections," one traveler shared. Pack light but bring extra layers since temperatures drop quite a bit at Chisapani's height.
- Day 2
Chisapani to Nagarkot (1,932m)
Get up early to see the sunrise over the Himalayas. You'll spend about 6 hours walking through rhododendron forests to Chowki-Bhanjyang. The flowers are stunning if you visit in March or April. After passing through Jarsing Pawa village, you'll go down to Kartike Bhanjyang before climbing up to Nagarkot. One visitor noted: "The immense pleasure of seeing the mountain panorama from Nagarkot was worth every step – you can see from Manaslu all the way to the Everest range on a clear day."
- Day 3
Nagarkot to Changunarayan and Kathmandu
Start your day with mountain views from Nagarkot. Most hotels have rooms facing the peaks. Walk down through farm terraces and villages to reach Changunarayan, an old temple complex honoring Vishnu. Plan to spend at least an hour looking around the medieval buildings. "Our guide Ganesh was very knowledgeable about the temple's history and significance," one trekker mentioned. It's about an hour's drive back to Kathmandu, leaving you time to shop for souvenirs in the afternoon.
3 Days in Chitwan National Park, incl. Kathmandu and Sauraha
Luxury meets wilderness from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park, with scenic flights to Bharatpur. Stay at a luxury resort and a secluded jungle tower. Activities include jeep safaris, guided walks, and traditional Tharu cultural shows.
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park
Take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Bharatpur. The flight takes about 25 minutes. Book a seat on the right side of the plane if you want great views of the Himalayas on clear mornings. From Bharatpur Airport you'll drive about 45 minutes to Sauraha, the main town near Chitwan. Check in to your hotel, have lunch and get ready for an afternoon jeep safari. Animals often come out to drink at this time making it perfect for wildlife spotting. One visitor shared: "We watched a male rhino on the river banks during sunset on the Rapti river - a perfect introduction to Chitwan."
- Day 2
Full Jungle Immersion
Start early with a full-day guided jungle walk. You'll want to wear neutral colors and bring sturdy walking shoes. The ground can get quite muddy if you're visiting during monsoon season from June to September. Your guide will show you how to track animals and spot different species. The best part? You'll spend the night in an observation tower inside the park. Pack light for your tower stay but bring warm clothes since nights can get cool. A recent guest said: "Staying in the tower was beyond expectations - hearing the jungle sounds at night while being safely elevated was thrilling."
- Day 3
Morning Wildlife & Return
Take advantage of sunrise wildlife viewing from the tower when birds are most active. Head back to your hotel for breakfast and get ready for your return journey. Give yourself at least 2 hours to get to Bharatpur Airport since park exit procedures can take time. Your flight back to Kathmandu gives you one last look at the Terai landscape below.
3 Day Nepal Itinerary, incl. Kathmandu and Pokhara
Marvel at Nepal's cultural triangle: Kathmandu's UNESCO sites, Pokhara's serene lakes, and Bhaktapur's medieval squares. Features morning mountain flights, visits to Bouddhanath Stupa, and traditional Newari experiences, all with expert guide services.
- Day 1
Kathmandu
Book an early morning mountain flight over the Himalayas. Choose a seat on the left side for the best Everest views. Flights usually take off between 6-9am but weather can change plans so keep your schedule flexible. Visit Boudhanath Stupa next during morning hours when locals perform their kora ritual walks. One traveler shared: "Watching the elderly locals prostrating themselves while young monks hurried past was a powerful contrast of old and new Nepal." Head to Kathmandu Durbar Square before 2pm to avoid the hot sun since there's little shade. Get your temple tickets from the official tourism office instead of street vendors. If you have time visit Pashupatinath Temple for the evening prayer ceremony.
- Day 2
Pokhara
Take the first flight to Pokhara. It's only 30 minutes and the right side has great mountain views. The lakeside area is perfect for walking but bring water and good shoes. Go boating on Phewa Lake in the morning when it's calm. You can hike to the World Peace Pagoda later but start by 3pm to finish before dark. Watch your step if it's been raining.
- Day 3
Bhaktapur
Drive back to Kathmandu and continue to Bhaktapur. Get there by 9am to see local potters at work in Pottery Square. Try the local Juju Dhau yogurt from busy shops. Morning light is best for photos of the temples and courtyards. A visitor noted: "The intricate woodcarvings in Bhaktapur's temples are incredible - bring a good camera and take your time exploring the hidden corners."

- Chitwan Tour with Staying Inside The Park
Chitwan is one of the best place for everyone who want a bit of wildlife, culture and enjoyment. Our trip was lead by Kedar and we were in Chitwan for 2 nights and 3 days. We arrived Chitwan at about 5 pm in the evening and the major event during the days was cultural dance of tharus. This dance was so amazing and the dinner was also good. The canoeing on the next day was wonderful and crocodile a foot away us that was terrifying. The elephant safari and bird watching was wonderful. Trek Nepal Himalayas team provided us the fabulous service and they even managed bonfire at evening and the night was so entertaining that whenever I think about the trip and bonfire night I get butterflies in my stomach and cant stop smiling. I would recommend Trek Nepal Himalayas to anyone who want to tour in Nepal.
