We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the crew, Cruise Director, and facilities onboard. Regarding the billing issue, as the operator, we don’t manage the payment platform directly. The booking platform settles payments with us only once the cruise is complete. We understand the frustration with chasing refunds and recommend reaching out to the TourRadar platform directly for a resolution. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding. Crucemundo

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between letter-category cabins (F, G, H) and those without?
The main difference lies in their proximity to facilities that may generate noise or their location at the far ends or corners of the cabin rows. As a result, letter-category cabins are priced slightly lower.
Does Crucemundo provide pre- or post-cruise accommodation?
Unfortunately, Crucemundo does not have partnerships with hotels and is unable to assist with accommodation arrangements before or after the cruise.
Can I choose my room number?
Yes, you can select your preferred room number within your cabin category for an additional charge of €50. Please contact us in advance to make this arrangement.
Are the prices fixed in euros?
Yes, our prices are set in euros. Due to fluctuations in exchange rates, the amount in other currencies may vary slightly depending on the day of quotation. Crucemundo operates officially in euros, and our partner, TourRadar, handles currency conversion based on the day’s exchange rate.
How can I make a payment/refund or use the payment splitting service?
All payments and refunds are processed through our partner, TourRadar, who handles all transactions. You can contact them directly for payment, refund, or payment splitting inquiries. As the tour operator, Crucemundo remains in the loop, confirming the amounts, and you can always send your questions to us, and we’ll forward them to TourRadar.
What is included in the excursion package?
The excursion package includes guided tours to key attractions at each destination. These excursions are available for an extra charge and will be specified in your itinerary. The specific excursions included may vary depending on your route.
How do optional excursions differ from the excursion package?
Optional excursions are separate from the excursion package. These are individual visits to specific sites that you can purchase onboard, and they are not included in the package. Availability depends on passenger demand, and you can buy them directly while on board.
Are vegetarian or vegan catering options available?
Yes, we offer vegetarian and vegan options. If you are interested, please let us know, and we will submit your dietary preferences to the crew.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
While we do not have a separate menu, our chefs try to accommodate dietary restrictions by adding alternative dishes to the menu. Please inform us of your dietary needs at the time of booking so we can notify the crew in advance.
What drink packages are available?
We offer various drink packages, including unlimited soft drinks, as well as a wine and beer package. Some cruises offer drink packages as part of the package, while others offer them for an extra charge. Please check the details of each cruise package.
Can I bring my own drinks onboard?
Yes, you may bring drinks to your room. For drinking them in public areas such as the bar or restaurant, a corkage fee will be charged. Please consult the reception onboard.
Are the ships wheelchair accessible?
Our ships are partially accessible for passengers with limited mobility. There are elevators, but depending on the ship some areas, such as certain decks or excursion sites, may not be fully accessible. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs before booking.
Do you offer transfer services?
Yes, we offer transfer services to and from the port, as well as to and from the airport or hotel, for an additional charge. Please contact us for more details and to arrange your transfers in advance.
What is the check-in and check-out schedule?
Cabin access and check-in start at 16:00. The official end of the cruise and check-out on disembarkation day is no later than 9:00 AM. Please consider these times when planning your arrival and departure.
What should I know about delays in ship arrival?
Ships may experience delays due to factors like water levels, locks and dams, or docking arrangements. Please allow extra time in your schedule to avoid any conflicts.
Where is the embarkation address?
Docking locations may change depending on port authorities. We recommend verifying the final details closer to your travel date, which will be provided through the TourRadar platform.
What is the main language used onboard?
The primary language onboard is English. Notices and announcements are in English & Spanish, as well as other languages based upon the needs of the passengers on board.
How are tips handled onboard?
Tips should be paid in cash, typically €50-€70 per person per cruise. While tipping is not mandatory, it is customary and highly appreciated. An envelope will be provided at the reception desk where you can leave the tip, which will be divided among all crew members, including sailors, cleaning staff, kitchen, and reception.
Is there a dress code onboard?
Feel free to dress comfortably and casually on board and during shore excursions. For evening deck visits, we recommend warmer clothing. Sturdy shoes are advisable for land excursions. When visiting the onboard restaurant, smart-casual attire is recommended.
What are the laundry services onboard?
You can have your laundry done on board. You will be provided with a bag to place your items, and the staff will take care of the rest. Pricing depends on the type and volume of items, please consult the reception onboard.
Do I need to bring an adaptor plug to use the electricity on board?
The electrical service onboard is 220V, however, most standard American electrical appliances are 120V. If you bring onboard any items that require electricity you must bring a two-pin plug European adaptor that will fit your item.
Can I bring my pet onboard?
Pets are not accepted onboard the Crucemundo ships and this is due to sanitary and medical reasons (allergies) but also for legislative reasons. Animal regulations change between countries.
