- Day 2 Flight to Lukla and start EBC trekking to Phakding (2652m/8699ft). Walking Duration 3 hours.
- Day 3 Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11283Ft) Duration 6 hours
- Day 4 Namche Acclimatization - Hike to Everest View Hotel (3,962 m /12995 ft.) Walking Distance - 3 to 4 km, Duration: 3 to 4 Hours
- Day 5 Trek to Tengboche (3860m/12680Ft) Walking Distance - 10 to 11 Km Duration 5 hours
- Day 6 Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m/14464ft) Walking Distance - 11 to 12 km, Duration: 5 hours
- Day 7 EBC Acclimatization - Hike to Nagerjun hill and return: Walking Distance - 5 to 6 km, Duration: 4 to 5 hours
- Day 8 Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m/16105ft) Walking Distance - 11 to 12 km, Duration: 5 hours
- Day 9 Lobuche to Gorakshep (5181m/16990ft) - Everest Base Camp (5364m/17594ft) and back to Gorakshep, Walking Distance - 14 to 15 km, Duration- 8 hours.
- Day 10 Gorakshep - Kala Patthar (5545m/11283ft) then trek back to Pheriche (4210m/13810ft) Walking Distance - 13 to 14 km, Duration - 7 hours
- Day 11 Pheriche to Namche (3440m/11283) Walking Distance - 14 to 15 km, Duration- 7 hours

Our group of 7 Americans got an amazing surprise - a helicopter upgrade to Lukla instead of the regular flight. This saved us a ton of time and those pre-trek jitters! Layul Lama, our guide, was fantastic. His expertise and friendly personality kept us all safe, motivated, and enjoying the trek. The scenery was unreal - towering, snow-capped peaks stretching as far as we could see. We couldn't have asked for a more unforgettable adventure!Show more

Trip date: April 2024 - JSJanie· April 27th, 2023We hired Peregrine Treks and Tours for the EBC journey for four persons. 4-6 persons are the maximum number of people you should go hiking with since you would be waiting behind the others. It takes a lot of walking and trekking up and down mountains, but the experience is priceless. I suspect Pradip (the director of the company) is always on his phone as his replies to me was very fast! I got the altitude sickness at the top (such a bummer) but Pradip managed to handle everything (i.e. liaising with the insurance, hospital, helicopter etc) swiftly. I too cannot thank enough the porters and my guide, Nima who carried our bags and took care of us.
