  As a first time solo traveller, I found the 14 Day Japan Classics tour was very full filing. With many activities on offer each day, the tour never felt overwhelming or exhausting at any point and had the perfect amount of free time thrown in the mix. It's amazing how many different locations are covered in a 14 day period! What made this the best tour possible was the amazing tour guide Billy! Billy made a constant effort to make sure everyone was feeling comfortable as a part of the group and if there was anything that he could assist with, he would! Any opportunity he had to share with us Japanese culture in history and in the present time, he would do so with such passion and would always encourage us to ask any questions we may have. Billy truly made my first ever solo trip an unforgettable experience, I would strongly recommend this tour to everyone!!

  This tour is great fun. Well structured with loads of good activities. You also get plenty of free time to explore on your own. Accommodation is all really good and the travel around the country is all incredibly efficient. You get to know your group so well by the end and it makes the experience really memorable.

  Fantastic experience especially for first time in Japan when you want to see as much as possible in the most convenient & stress free way. Our tour guide Kassy was brilliant at providing a fun, enjoyable ten days and we felt lucky to be with a group of lovely people. There is a lot of travel involved on a couple of the days so they mean it when the they say you need to be relatively fit. There was an option to send your bag to the next hotel which a few people did if you don’t want to carry it with you. Overall I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Japan.

  An intense tour with very full days but such a wonderful insight into Japan. You will end the trip feeling fully immersed into the culture, sights and general life of Japan. But you cannot do it all so I’ll definitely be back

  A really great tour. We travelled as a family of 4, but the experience would be great for an individual or couple as well. There is a great mix of group activities and free time to explore things on your own. There is a lot of travelling around, but having the guide takes away the stress of working out where to go. The accommodations all offered something new, with Kyoto being a particularly good one. The value for money is excellent. I will be looking out for other one life adventure tours in future.

  Our 14-day tour of Japan was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Billy. From the moment we met, he treated us like friends rather than just tourists. He was incredibly considerate of everyone’s needs, always checking in and making sure we were comfortable and having a good time. Billy struck the perfect balance between being fun and professional, he kept the energy high and the group laughing, while also sharing his knowledge of Japanese culture, history, and local life. Billy made sure we knew exactly what the plan was, which really helped everything run smoothly. The itinerary was well-paced, with a great mix of activities and free time to explore on our own. There were a couple of hiccups with accommodation, but Billy handled everything really well, he made things better where he could. He genuinely cared about our experience and went above and beyond to make things right. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better way to see Japan.

  I had the trip of a lifetime and am so happy I chose one adventures for my first group travel experience. I thought the itinerary was perfect as it allowed us to hit the major attractions whilst still giving us enough free/down time to go and explore other aspects of Japan for ourselves. Our particular group was very special, we instantly gelled and I think that was down to our guide Billy. Billy is unbelievable at his job.He is so friendly and put everyone at ease from the start. His enthusiasm, humour and outgoing personality put a constant smile on everyone’s faces. Billy is extremely knowledgable about Japan and explained the history and key features so clearly throughout the trip. He was also super at letting us know logistics and I almost felt like I didn’t need to think when he was around because he would sort it all! Billy was beyond helpful and if there was ever anything I needed he looked after it. As a group I think we can all agree that the trip was so special because of the dedication, enthusiasm and joy that Billy showed so thank you so so much Billy boy, I had a ball!

  The tour was fantastic every place we went our guide knew a lot of knowledge about the area , the kendo lesson was a favourite of mine also monkey mountain and boat ride

  A fantastic experience. You experience so many different things. There's always the right balance between self-exploration and guided tours. Our guide, Sherry, was wonderful. Very helpful, funny, clearly structured, and always with a great plan.
