The biggest challenge as an English speaker was the language barrier, although the crew included English following speaking to the French passengers, there was always something missing in translation. The food was good, but a very limited selection. No snacks were provided or available on the ship between meals. The biggest hassle was having to leave the ship to travel in buses and staying in hotels after the navigation of the river was stopped due to flooding. The crew was scrambling to accommodate, but a lot of time was wasted waiting on buses and moving from hotel to hotel.Show moreTrip date: May 2024- gary· May 17th, 2024The French boat has a problem with English speaking people, we were put on the top open deck in the cold for a talk on Bulgaria while the French and Portuguese were down stairs in the warm interior. The internet has not worked properly for the past 3 days, very erratic. They advertise internet is available but not usable as lots of dropouts.
