  From the moment I found Lucas in the arrivals hall and was greeted with a hug I knew I was in for a time of my life. You will get to feel authentic Maldives away from the crowds. You will really get the feeling of island life. We were fortunate enough to see a local football match and feel the atmosphere with locals and local village life. This was an amazing trip where I met amazing people who struggle to travel affordably as friends never have time or other commitments. Lucas was an amazing guide with such a big heart, patience, attention to detail and commitment to make sure everyone is included and feels good about them selves. As one of the oldest in the group I did not feel out of place. Regardless of your age you will feel at ease. The trip is amazing value for money. Lucas goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is included moment is captured for you so you don’t have to worry about not being in any photos. His knowledge is amazing and he has worked so hard with hotels and other companies to make unique experience like private dinners on the beach. Nothing is too much. His choice in hotels is perfect. They are all excellent quality and so clean and friendly. Take as many outfits as you like. Lucas makes sure that your bags are transported at all times so you don’t need to worry about lifting and moving them. Really enjoyed seeing all the sea life turtles, dolphins,leopard sharks, nurse sharks. Fish. Also did my first scuba dive thanks to patience of Lucas. The resort day is amazing. Seeing different islands and being away from large amounts of tourists is great. Don’t hold back from going it’s worth the money. I’ll never get the chance normally to do it. You get the feel of island life. Do as much or as little as you like when your with Indy escapes So pleased I booked this trip and look forward to my next trip with Lucas and Indy Escapes. Thanks for an amazing week Lucas and all the other crew members that took us by speedboat and snorkelling in so many places.   Do not hesitate to book this trip! The itinerary is so amazing for only 8 days and you cross off so many bucket list items! Lucas was the best tour guide and really went out of his way to get you Insta worthy CONTENT :) For all ocean lovers, booking this trip is a no brainer. From scuba diving to snorkeling and swimming with sharks, this group trip hits all the best activities to do in the Maldives. Everything is planned out for you each day, and all you really have to worry about is what bikini you want to wear. I will definitely be looking at Indy Escapes for future trips.

  Where do I even begin?!? This week was INCREDIBLE and a dream come true. I never could have planned a trip like this on my own. Lucas is amazing and very easy going and planned so many exciting things for us this week and I made new travel friends and memories to last me a lifetime. I promise you I WILL be back!!!! Thank you Lucas for making one of my dream trips the most memorable.

  My boyfriend and I recently joined an Indy Escapes adventure, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime! One of the highlights for me was the amazing group of travellers we met. Everyone was so friendly, and it felt like we were all instantly connected. Sharing these incredible experiences with others made the trip even more special, from laughing over meals to cheering each other on during adventures—it felt like we’d formed a little family by the end. The wildlife encounters were absolutely breathtaking. Swimming alongside a majestic whale shark and gliding through the water with graceful manta rays were moments I’ll never forget. Lucas and the local guides made sure we felt safe and comfortable while teaching us about these incredible creatures and their habitats. It was magical to be so close to nature and share those surreal moments with my boyfriend and our new friends. The blend of adventure, cultural experiences, and time to connect with other like-minded travellers was perfect. Indy Escapes nailed every detail, creating memories we’ll cherish forever. If you’re looking for a trip that’s equal parts thrilling, inspiring, and heartwarming, this is it!

  My trip to the Maldives with Indy Escapes was a once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget! Our guide Lucas was incredibly warm, welcoming and knowledgeable, and made myself as a solo female traveller feel safe, included and welcomed into the group. His organisation, professionalism and down to earth personality truly made the whole experience stress free from the start. I will choose to travel with Lucas and Indy Escapes over and over again, and I am already looking forward to booking my next holiday!

  Quite possibly the best week of my life. Our guide (and the founder) Lucas was an absolutely amazing guide, he took the time to get to know every single person on the group, made sure that everyone had the best time possible. The Maldives itself needs no explaining, if you love the ocean/marine animals/beaches then this is the place for you. The group was a collection of just incredible humans from around the world and what I liked most is that the age range - most people were in their 30s. I would 100% do this tour again and recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the Maldives without breaking the bank. 10/10

  I had an amazing time in Maldives! 🇲🇻 It was a good combination of adventure and chill days and evenings, with 2 days free to plan it on our own, and the rest was booked with wildlife adventures. Activities included swimming with sharks, turtles, stingrays, manta rays etc. and as much as some of it might sound a bit scary, it was one of the best experiences and the most peaceful I ever had. Lucas took a good care of everything and made sure everyone is feeling comfortable. I especially appreciated that no one felt pressured to do any of the activities, instead we were encouraged and not pushed. I personally panic sometimes in a deep and unknown water, but I felt so comfortable and safe. The people in the group were also very kind and helpful, and at the same time fun and interesting people to be around. I especially liked that Lucas made sure wildlife is treated with respect, and we do not do any harm to any of the sea creatures. Indy Escapes is definitely not just one more travel agency that will take you to sightseeing sport for a quick picture and to make as much money as possible, it is for sharing experiences, creating meaningful connections, and discovering beautiful world while caring for each other and for the nature around. Highly recommended!

  I did the Maldives Indy Escapes tour and it was perfect!!! Maldives isn't really an easy country to explore as a solo traveller or without spending thousands a day... This is absolutely the way to do it! Highlights: - Maldives is GORGEOUS. The water is even better than it looks on Instagram. (We had perfect weather!) - The itinerary is very well thought out and found it logical and a good mix. This is definitely a tour for water babies! - I did all the optional extras and all were worthwhile. -Hotels were comfortable, clean and basically on the beach - Group dynamics suited me perfectly - average age around 33. 75% female, 60% solos, 65% Australians (rest mainly UK/US), all well travelled and focused on adventure more than partying. -Price: I spent $2100 total in the week (tour, extras, food, all in) which is amazing for the Maldives. - Guide: Lucas is the guide and owner and you can feel the extra passion and care that goes into guiding for your own business. Some considerations: - Weather would have been a major factor. We were lucky to have only perfect days... If not a little hot!(Pack double the amount of sunscreen you think you need) - Maldives is a Muslim country - there is NO alcohol outside of resorts (which is not where we stay) I would absolutely recommend this Maldives tour - it was a perfect week in paradise and everything I hoped for and more. I would absolutely do another tour with Indy Escapes in the future- it's the perfect group travel solution for solo travellers in their 30s.
