Why I have given only an ok score was the transport back to Hanoi. This was really far below standard. It was chaotic unfriendly and There were not enough seats available. people had to laydown on the busfloor in the middle part in between chairs. Chairs in generaal were to small for European passengers. You are guided by locals through the villages and get a very good insight into life in SaPa. Due to the TET festival it was very crowded we would therefore, and also because of the cool weather, rather not recommend the tour in winter to see the rice fields bloom. We still had a very great time and are glad to have done the 3 day trekking tour - the rice terraces are impressive! The bungalow in Ta Van Village was great, we even had an electric blanket.
