Although I did have an experience once in a group travel where a woman came up to me and said "your mother was my HS gym teacher". She recognized my last name. She had a different name than in HS. Her sister was in my class. Had we not been given a list of names, we could have travelled for 10 days and never discovered that we knew one another since she we both now lived in different locations than when we were in HS.
