- Farzan· September 20th, 2024As a couple we had a wonderful time in Oman thanks to Nasser’s in depth knowledge of the country and his warm personality. There was an overview of the main sites in Muscat city, then we saw Quriyat (small coastal fishing village) and the Bimah Sinkhole. Then we will continued along the white Beach of Fins followed by the beautiful Wadi Shab. Sur and Ras Al Hadd were historical whilst the Ras al Jinz reserve allowed us to witness the Turtles in action (hatching, moving to sea). There was also star gazing at the resort hotel. On the second day we explored Wadi Bani Khaled. In this spectacular Wadi we enjoyed the scenery and clear waters to swim in. The Wahiba Desert was magical in its stillness and beauty . We also visited a local Bedouin family and learned about their history and lifestyle. Throughout our trip we were welcomed with Omani hospitality. The desert hotel was unique and also had a great plateau from which to see beautiful scenery. On the third day we explored Nizwa which has a rich history and is known as a trading hub of local goods such as Halwa, daggers and and goats. The Round Tower Fort and Souq were famous. Jabrin Castle was full of history and architectural marvel. We recommend this tour and in particular suggest you ask for Nasser. He really went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, brief us in detail and give an in depth explanation of the country and culture.Show more
- Simon· October 10th, 2023We really enjoyed the trip overall. We saw and experienced a lot and could ask the guides anything we wanted. They were very eager and flexible to meet our needs. We had two different guides for each of the three days. With the first one we had to organize and pay for all entrance fees and drinks ourselves. This is contrary to the agreed terms. We have spent so total safe again 55 Rial extra. The program was not really known to both guides and it was sometimes positive and sometimes negative deviated from it. So we had no Dune bashing and had to pay for the Dolphin watching (which was not organized at all) and the Camel ride. The trip was not planned wisely. For example, we arrived at the market in Nizwa when everything was over. The short city tour in Muscat on Saturday did not take place at all. Thus we never saw the big mosque. This would have been one of our highlights, which we really wanted to see! The second guide was much better educated, explained more and could answer our questions precisely. Thus, we learned much more about the country and its people. We learned from this that it is not good to book a trip through two agencies involved. We also advise against changing guides during such a short trip.Show more

Hotels also were comfortable, we did not experienced any inconvenience. We can recommend this tour for every who would like to have short but impressive tour.Show more
