From start to finish, this journey was a thoughtful blend of carefully curated experiences like the bead factory or monkey sanctuary, warm hospitality, and a deep dive into Ghana’s landscape, culture and history. The itinerary offered a diverse range of activities and perspectives that allowed me to truly discover the beauty of Ghana. Zainab, our guide, whose passion for Ghana was infectious. Even after the tour concluded, she remained available to provide tips and recommendations, enriching my extended stay in Ghana. Our driver, mr Elliots, knew the roads like the back of his hand, skillfully avoiding bumps. His driving not only ensured our safety but also enhanced the overall comfort of the journey. Both their extensive knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine love for the country really made the trip special. They shared facts, fun stories, personal anecdotes, all giving me a deeper understanding of Ghana's culture and history. I can't wait to return and explore more of this incredible country. To explore the different regions of Ghana, you have to do a bit of travelling, but it was absolutely worth it. We especially liked the variety and felt very well looked after by ProTour and our guide at all times. We visited several historic sites and cultural landmarks, including the Cape Coast Castle, the Kakum National Park, and the Ashanti Kingdom.
