The country is beautiful and it was great to see the diversity of the different coats and beaches, volcano, waterfalls and cloud forest. Trip date: December 2023 - RVRobin· February 5th, 2023We booked this tour with the idea we could go on a holiday without requiring the worry about hotels, transfers, tours. Problem was that it from the beginning it was a struggle to get the right papers. It took them 3 attempts to send the correct ones. When traveling we were informed that one of the tours had to be rescheduled because the park was closed. During this converstation we asked to change one of the hotels because of this reschedule. The wanted an extra charge of twice the price of a normal hotel price. It was 330 dollar for an extra night. Also one of the hotels i san jose was advertised as a 3 star hotel which was not the case according to google. It seems to me that the booked hotels where often low quality in comparison with other hotels which had more value for money. As for the proposed tours, often the transport was late or it simply was not possible to book extra excursiobs becouse of travel that took a lot longer than advertised or late arrivals. Finally we tried to contact the travel agency and tourradar for a questions. Our driver wanted to drop us off in another hotel. We tried to contact them but were unable to contact somebody for almost a day. To conclude, we did had a great time but were disappointed in the extra we paid to go on an organized tour.
