- Marius· April 22nd, 2025Trekking to Everest Base Camp was the adventure of a lifetime, and I couldn’t have asked for a better partner than Sherpa Travel Agency. My guide, Frunzi, was incredibly kind, attentive, and supportive—always adjusting the pace to suit me and making sure I was safe and well every step of the way. Together with Bala, our strong and cheerful porter, they helped me reach the base camp successfully and with confidence. The agency provided the best possible accommodations in the mountains, with great vegetarian meal options throughout the trek. Ram, the agency owner, stayed in constant contact and generously offered high-quality gear (sleeping bag, poles, and down jacket) free of charge. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, and I wholeheartedly recommend this tour for anyone taking on this incredible journey.Show more
- Thad· February 23rd, 2025I recently completed the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Sherpa Expedition, and it was truly a life-changing experience! From the moment we began, the stunning landscapes captivated me — lush valleys, rhododendron forests, terraced fields, and, of course, the towering snow-capped peaks of the Annapurnas. Every day brought new beauty and adventure. The trek was challenging but incredibly rewarding. The highlight, without a doubt, was reaching Thorong La Pass, standing at 5,416 meters — the highest point of the trek! The view was beyond words, and the sense of achievement was overwhelming. Our guide was knowledgeable and ensured we were well-prepared, safe, and comfortable every step of the way. The culture and warmth of the local villages along the trail were another highlight. We met kind-hearted locals, enjoyed traditional meals, and learned about the rich culture of the area. This trek is a perfect blend of natural beauty, physical challenge, and cultural immersion. I highly recommend the Annapurna Circuit to anyone looking for an adventure of a lifetime. Sherpa Expedition made the journey seamless and unforgettable. Can’t wait to do it again!Show more
- Thomas· January 24th, 2025Cold weather and warm people. From the moment I booked the trip, the company was extremely responsive, friendly, and informative. The jeep ride was crowded but beautiful. Make sure to keep your phone within arm's reach for quick pictures. The food was great and was always western portion sizes. The lodges were cold but comfortable. The distances were appropriate for each day with our longest day only being about 17 miles. Recommendations: Bring a light sleeping bag. They can loan one to you but it's heavy and it takes up a lot of space. Don't bring just one big jacket. Bring layers with successive warmth ratings so you can add or remove clothing as you walk. My rain jacket and rain pants were great choices for lightweight layers to help block the extreme winds. About 20000 rupees should help cover extra costs and the tip for your guide (if your guide is as awesome as mine was).Show more
