  The tour was very interesting, and a very good demonstration of the Egypt highlights. The tour guide - Ashraf Roma - was very knowledgeable and kind. The boat cruise staff were very nice and every day made some personalised sculptures with the shower towels in our room (e.g. a crocodile, monkey). Would very much recommend this tour and this tour guide. It was an unforgettable trip!

  Well organised tour highly recommended, itinerary was great, it was an unforgettable experience and enjoyable from the begin to end. Visiting all the ancient sites like the Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx and the temples were amazing. I would like to thank Tony for picking us up from the airport and make sure we were settled into our accommodation and keeping us informed about what is happening. The person who made our trip special and memorable was Asharf from the moment we meet him we are feeling comfortable his friendly personality, knowledge and assistance really help us to relax and enjoy the experience.

  -this tour was very well organized. Everything was thoughtful and all guides and drivers were informed of our itinerary and kept us on track. I was so impressed! We got a message from Tony the day before our flight letting us know that he will pick us up in Cairo on our arrival. Each tour guide handed off to the next, they stayed in touch with other to ensure a smooth transition. Tony, who first picked up in arrival was very kind, polite and accommodating. He took a picture of us and sent to the next guide so they know to look for us. He also gave us a great recommendation for an authentic egyptian dinner that night. -Marwa our tour guide for pyramids, sphinx and museum was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Took care of us and made sure that we got everything out our visit. She also gave us a great recommendation for a koushary lunch. -hotel in Cairo was nice and clean, not much close by so we took an Uber which is safe and cheap. Staff at hotel were kind and helpful. -we did the camel ride in Giza, I didn't like being on the camel but we were taken to a nice spot and got great shots of the 9 pyramids. -Nile river cruise on the Opera was amazing. The room was clean and we had a large window slide door. The food was incredible, different each day and dinner was a highlight. The staff went out of their way to ensure you are having a great time. Tea time at 4 pm everyday was a very nice touch. Only issue here was that you were not given water and had to pay for it. This I found unacceptable and especially for what they consider 5*cruise. At least 1 bottle per person per day should be provided. -Ashraf our tour guide in Awan, Edfu and Luxor was amazing. Knowledgeable, kind, accommodating and extremely prompt. He made sure each day was incredible, he was very organized, extremely prompt, reliable and had great communication, letting us know the plans for the day and next day. He was very patient and explained everything numerous times without getting tired of us asking the same questions. He helped us shop and haggle and always looked out for us. He made us feel like his family and was always looking out for us to keep us safe. He went put of his way to do things for us, helping us book our train tickets for later parts of our trip, taking us gold shopping and giving us recommendations for food. -hotel at Luxor at the end of the trip was a bit shabby buy clean and efficient. Staff were great. The lunch on our last day in Luxor at a nearby restaurant was not good quality. Especially after the amazing food on the cruise, this was a let down. Wish that we could have had lunch at the hotel instead. -we did the hot air balloon in Valley of Kings. Early morning flight and 2 vans rides plus boat ride to get to. It was 20 minutes up in the air and packed with other people. We didn't go over the valley or see anything other than crop fields. A bit disappointing. -all in all, this was an amazing tour and a great value for the money.

  I recently went on a cruise trip from Cairo to Luxor and Aswan, and it was truly an amazing experience. The guide and the crew on the ship were incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire journey. They made us feel very welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. The cabin was spotless and very comfortable, and we were impressed with the quality of the food. As vegetarians, we were particularly pleased with how accommodating the kitchen staff was—they made sure we had delicious options throughout the trip.

  A very good, well organized tour, spoiled somewhat by surprise, additional costs to visit some of the sights on the tour itinerary. We ended up paying an additional 1,000 AUD on top of the tour price by the time we were done, half of which was for transportation, mini bus and water taxi to visit items on the original itenerary. It would have been better to understand total cost up front, there's no need to hide cost information from your customers to surprise people with during their holidays.

  Overall, the trip was as described on the itinerary and we were always well taken care of. Our driver, Tony, met us at the airport in Cairo and was very accomodating and happily answered any questions we had. Our tour guide for Cairo, Marwa, was extremely knowledgable and very passionate about the ancient Egyptian civilisation. She was very friendly and knew all the best spots to see around the pyramids and museum and could explain anything you wanted to know. After landing in Aswan, our next tour guide, Medhat, greeted us at the airport. He spent the rest of the trip with us and accompanied us on the 3 day cruise on the Nile. Medhat was very knowledgable and offered to show us around each city outside of the tour. For example, on our last afternoon, he took us to a small shop and shouted us a sugar cane juice which we had not tried before. It was very refreshing and tasted great. The only reason we haven't given 5 stars was due to not finding out we had to pay for entrance fees to the sites and tipping everywhere until one week before we left. As we were not aware about the currency used in Egypt, we took out Egyptian pounds, only to find out they use USD the majority of the time. Being told about this ahead of time would have cleared up many questions and allowed us to bring extra USD currency to ensure we did not have to take thousands of Egyptian pounds out at a time. Despite this, we had a fantastic time. The locals were very friendly, our accommodation was excellent and our safety and enjoyment were at the forefront of everyone's mind.

  It was a great experience, beyond from the mistic and magic of the destination itself, the tour was smoother than expected, felt always safe and well guided through all the trip. The tour guides were very professional and kind. Would definitely recommend Truly Egypt for your trip.
