    The tour guide was knowledgeable and on time for everything. However, the printed itinerary did not match where the guide took us or in the same order. Fortunately, the guide took us to a place not on the itinerary -- the Hotel Sidi Idriss, where the first Star Wars movie was filmed -- and that was fantastic. It was a great surprise to stop there, although it shouldn't have been a surprise and should have been on the itinerary. Also, at some points the guide, who also served as the driver, seemed like he'd done the tour a million times and was a bit bored.

    We did 5 days in Namibia; from Windhoek to the desert to the coast and then to Etosha. It was a lot of travel in the car, but the sights were totally worth the ride. Our guide Shawn was incredible. He made the trip magical. He is well connected, knowledgable, and truly cares about giving guests the experiences they dream of.

    This tour was the perfect way to experience Madagascar. It truly is an amazing and unique country. The roads are difficult to navigate but my driver (Pierre) did a great job. The Itinerary was exciting and full of once in a lifetime moments. My tour guide Tahiry took care of everything and was knowledgeable, and informative. I really couldn't ask for better lodgings or meals as we moved from destination to destination. There were a few stops at local artisans that I like better than others, but I was happy they were all included in my tour.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before August 1st, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 1st, 2025, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Across Africa Tours & Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 100 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Across Africa Tours & Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
