We had just the right balance of guided tours and free time to explore on our own. The hotel in Santorini had an incredible view of the caldera. The Tour Coordinater Ms Sillia first of all did not inform the Tour Operator that we had a 5 day tour and not 2 days, so when we arrived at our hotel and called, the operator she said we are only booked for 1 night and she does not know anything further. So of course we were confused and worried about the balance 3 days !! Afterwards Sillia called us and clarified but she should have met us at our hotel and explained about the various aspects of the tour..different drivers, cars, hotels etc. 2. On the 3rd day when we were going to catch our boat early morning at 6 am to Mykynos...again she did not inform/give us our tickets and Welcome Kit,,!!! Luckily our driver helped us out when he asked us ,,:Hope you have your tickets" and we said No, we thought you were going to give it to us.." ?? Obviously this was a major screw up..how can you send a tour party to catch the boat at 6 am without tickets ??? Really pathetic incompetence and attitude of Ms Sillia..If you cannot organise such things, you should not be in such a job !!Show moreTrip date: September 2024- Amy· June 18th, 2024I highly recommend this tour. I had 5 days by myself before meeting a friend on one of the islands. I wanted to see as much as possible. I was a little leery of being part of a large group but it turned out to be great. Everyone was friendly and we saw so much in just a matter of days. My opinion is that it's essential to have a tour guide when visiting some of the ancient sites. When I got to the islands I was no longer part of the big group. Everything, and I mean every detail, was arranged and fantastic. Very much worth it. My recommendation would be to book extra time in Greece like i did so you have a little bit more time on your own after the tour.Show moreTrip date: May 2024
- DRDeborah· May 13th, 2024We were extremely disappointed in our Tour Radar experience. First, you don't actually offer private tours as we were with other people, which we did not expect. Also, we trusted the Tour Radar team to understand the local travel times and to budget our time accordingly. We spent more time on buses, airplanes, and ferries than we did seeing the sights of Greece. On Monday, for example, the itinerary stated that we would have a three-hour drive to Delphi. That part was true, but because we were joining the group en route to the monasteries, we were only given one hour at Delphi and didn't even have time to visit the museum. We spent the rest of the day on the bus. On Tuesday, that day too was spent entirely on the bus returning to Athens. On Wednesday and Thursday, we were transferred to Santorini and Mykonos, respectively, but had very little time to sightsee before having to transfer to our next stop. We were also not given any instructions on what we should see while on the islands. We spent the entire day on Friday on the ferry to Athens. We will never be using Tour Radar again nor will we recommend your service to anyone we know.Show more
