  This tour definitely had its ups and downs. If you are solo travelling, be prepared to spend A LOT of time on your own. The drivers, guides, hotels and boat staff were all really nice. The second guide Ramsey was incredible! So knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, he deserves more than 5 stars! I didn’t have an Egyptian sim, I highly recommend this! More than once I had to borrow a mobile or ask to use someone’s hotspot as I had issue with a driver not turning up and a checking into a hotel as I had not been left with any details. Apart from on the cruise (which was amazing!) I feel I could have been given more information, and warned that I would not be with a group! They added another solo traveller for part of this tour which really helped, although no one told him his itinerary had changed! The places we saw were brilliant, I cannot say anything bad about them, just incredible!

  Good experience overall! A few important points if you are planning. We ended up being on our own and having various freelance tour guides and drivers guiding us along the itinerary. This was okay for us as we are experience travellers and enjoyed some of the flexibility. This required whatsapp and travel confidence. Highlights: Nile cruise was amazing (despite getting food poisoning from the salad). Beautiful modern ship and such a lovely experience sailing down the river. Local freelance guides we had in Egypt and Luxor were amazing. Super knowledgable and friendly. Lowlights: Last minute change in itinerary meant we waited at the train station for 5 hours and started the tour in Luxor instead of Aswan meaning the bus trip from Aswan to Hurghada took all night on a bus that stopped many many times. Accommodation in Cairo and Hurghada was very very basic along with provided meals. Not unsafe and hotel owners were nice, but if you are looking for North American/European style standards you should upgrade hotels. Overall I would recommend this tour for confident travellers wanting to have an adventure. We loved Egypt and felt fairly safe the whole time. Don't be afraid to ask questions and plan the trip that works for you!

  This tour company went out of their way to ensure a pleasant and wonderful experience. They were communicative and available at every turn. From the moment we got our luggage, there were representatives at the airport to guide us and provide an experience where we could just be present (i.e., they took care of all the details so we didn't have to think about them). Things to know: - 3 star hotels in egypt can be dirty; upgrading to a 4 star hotel is well worth the money - the overnight train ride is long (about 15 hours). The accommodations were very comfortable but the train itself was dirty - bring wipes to clean your space and a blanket or sweatshirt to keep you warm - the nile cruise is wonderful; very relaxing, clean and a great experience - be prepared to spend time in buses with this tour. It's really not a big deal and they had us in a very comfortable (private) van but we weren't mentally prepared for the travel time between cities (4-6 hour ride in most cases) - the snorkel experience in Hurghada is the adventure of a lifetime. It was truly magical in every sense of the word. BUCKET LIST item for sure!!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour and tour company to anyone considering a vacation to Egypt. It's the perfect blend of culture, experience and adventure. We had 7 kids in our group ranging from 11 - 17 and all had the time of their lives. There wasn't a moment we didn't feel safe, an outcome which I largely attribute to the tour company and the care they took with our group. Our tour guide, Mohammad, couldn't have been any better and added to the wonder that was this experience. He was a highlight in and of itself and my family can't stop talking about how much we love him! Mohammad is the man!!!!! This tour is worth every penny and then some. Book it!
