  This trip was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip. The people I met during my short time in Hawai'i has stayed with me all these years. I was forever changed the minute I stepped foot on the big island and I am grateful for that.

  GIVE gave me such an unforgettable experience that I will always cherish. I went on the Hawaii trip and I can’t explain how lucky I was to be able to experience the beautiful culture there as well as make life long friends. Not only did I learn how important it is to travel sustainably, but l also learned the importance of preserving Hawaiian culture. Getting to hear the amazing stories and experiences from the local natives brought so much more meaning to the projects we were working on. Getting to go through this journey with such amazing, like-minded people really made this trip so memorable. Honestly this was the best decision ever and I can’t wait to go on my next GIVE trip!

  This trip was a great way to experience the Big Island of Hawai'i, it provided an authentic and genuine look at the island, something not easily found elsewhere. The organization of the trip was focused, but not inflexible, and changes were made if needed. There was a good balance of doing work and getting to just have fun. The Guide was great, and provided a knowledgeable insight into the local community.

  Volunteering with GIVE surpassed all my expectations, and each project instilled in me a sense of responsibility toward conservation efforts, sustainable practices, and preserving ancestral knowledge. My experience was incredibly transformative, a journey where every step left a positive mark and introduced me to some of the most special souls on earth🤍 Above all else, the people of Hawai’i have left an indelible mark on me. Their hospitality, resilience, and commitment to their heritage amidst modern challenges is truly inspiring. When you book that trip, be mindful!! Support locals, think about the amount of waste you’re producing, and find ways to give back/honor the awe-inspiring landscapes you’re spending time in. Mahalo Hawai’i & my new GIVE family for these memories I will cherish for a lifetime! 🫶🏼🌺

  This trip was truly one of the best experiences of my life. It allowed me to learn so much about the culture of hawaii and gain a new perspective of tourism. I got to learn how to be global citizen with 21 other young adults who were very much like me.The people I met along the way each impacted me in a different way that was amazing. I think everyone should take a trip like this and GIVE is such a good place to do it through. The guides that led us through the native parts of hawaii were incredible and never failed to teach us new things and make it a fun time as well. I am already looking into doing another trip and I strongly encourage you to go on one as well!

  This trip was one of the best experiences I have ever had the joy of being apart of. The guides were so supportive and never left anyone behind. Everything was so well organized and planned out. Our hosts at our accommodation were absolutely amazing and I definitely plan on returning to the big island.

  I went on the Hawaii GIVE volunteer trip and it was AMAZING. The guides are awesome and truly make your time there more memorable and fun. I met super nice people who I will stay in touch with. The experience is what makes traveling with GIVE the most enjoyable and rewarding. There is so much that I would love to talk about this trip but in summary I would recommend anyone to go, it really is rewarding and life-altering as they immerse you deep into the Hawaiian culture.

  Wow. It's hard to put into words how one week can foster such immense, positive change in so many different ways. Growing up, I have always dreamt of visiting Hawai'i, but not in the typical tourist fashion that most do. I'm eternally grateful for GIVE for allowing me to experience Hawai'i in the way I had always dreamt of: by being immersed within its rich, vibrant Aloha-centered culture & being deeply involved with the restoration of the indescribably beautiful land and local communities. GIVE gave me the chance to foster a relationship with the 'aina (land) and kai (ocean) in ways I never would have thought possible. Furthermore, the relationships that I developed with my incredible guides and fellow volunteers are ones that will forever hold a special place in my heart.

  My experience with GIVE has been nothing short of life-changing. This past summer I went on a trip with GIVE to Hawai'i where we worked with local project partners and organizations to restore the land so it can be used to grow food for locals, restore and help rebuild a sacred archeological site, and so much more empowering work all over the Big Island. I gained a new perspective on the world, as well as a new global family of amazing humans who share my love for the Earth.
