Connie· November 17th, 2024This trip was a dream. Spectacular, amazing, awe inspiring. I just don't have enough words to recommend it enough. The guides and drivers all were fantastic and went out of their way to make the trip special in every single way. In order of meeting, Mustafa, Mohammed (driver), Hassan (guide),Bassam (guide), Mohamed (driver), Mustafa (in Luxor), Omar (guide). Every one of them were amazing!! We added on a day at the beginning and saw the newly opened Egyptian museum. We did a Nile dinner cruise that day. Both of these add ons were facilitated through the tour operators. I did an add on hot air balloon ride in Luxor (highly recommended) as well as a visit to the Nubian village in Aswan with a camel ride (amazing!). Again, everything was highly organized and facilitated through the tour. Just so many amazing experiences were had and lasting friendships were made. I took options for camel ride at Pyramids, hot air balloon in Luxor, and 4 days on Nile cruise. Tour had everything arranged and worked on time. Guides I had were excellent - Nasser in Cairo and Omar on cruise. Some sleep deprivation as a few days had to get up 2-3 AM for flight, hot air balloon. 2 flights on Air Cairo had 3 and 4 hour delays (obviously not the tour's fault). The guides in Cario - Bassam & Aswan - Omar are really good. They are nice & helpful. - Glen· March 30th, 2024I have a wonderful time and was treated like king and queen. I booked a tour of max 15 people. To our surprise we had a private tour for my wife and I. Tour guide was excellent. He provided good information about the historical site and offered to take pictures of two of us. More importantly, gave us free time to explore the site independently and take our Instagram moment. I was worried about transportation to my hotel in Cairo because I had an early 2am flight arrival. Egypt Direct Tour had a driver waiting at airport with my name. My flight back on the last day was a late departure. Egypt Direct Tour arrange a driver to airport as well. Hotels were excellent 5 star hotels. I stayed in the Swiss Inn Golf resort and Swiss Inn Hurghada. Hotel were luxurious and modern. Egypt Direct Tour meet me at the hotel to explain the full itinerary. He provide me with a contact number if I had any problems, I could contact him on WhatsApp. This was very useful when I wanted to arrange additional excursions Service from Egypt Direct Tour was warm and hospitable and definitely worth it. Some additional thoughts on itinerary. Abu Simbel is additional excursion which I thoroughly enjoyed. It is a long 3 hour ride one way but the historical site is worth it. Bus ride to Hurghada was a long 5 hour ride but worth it. It was great to relax at the beach resort for next 3 days. I took a late night flight at my extra cost from Hurghada to Cairo instead of 6 hour bus ride suggested by other packages. I paid an extra fee for late check out so I got an extra day to relax. Entrance fee to the museum or historical site was extra cost.
