This was disappointing and restrictive in certain meals especially breakfast. It made me wonder why we were asked about this when no alternatives would be available. Ella was great as we were able to source good restaurants offering gluten free alternatives Some of the hotels were fairly remote so it was difficult to explore various places independently such as Kandy. Our guide said he would take us on a shopping trip before we left but this did not happen and there was no explanation. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and stunning landscapes that set the tone for the entire trip. The itinerary was perfectly balanced, offering a mix of cultural experiences, adventure, and relaxation. We visited the ancient city of Sigiriya, where the climb to the top of the rock fortress was both challenging and rewarding, with panoramic views that took our breath away. Our journey through the lush tea plantations in Nuwara Eliya was a highlight. The cool climate, combined with the scenic views, made for a serene experience. We even got to visit a tea factory and taste some of the finest Ceylon tea. One of the most unforgettable moments was our safari in Yala National Park. We were lucky enough to spot elephants, crocodiles, and a variety of birds. The experience of being so close to nature was thrilling and humbling. What made this tour truly special were the people. Our guide, CJ was knowledgeable, friendly, and went out of his way to ensure we had the best experience. The locals were always welcoming, and we felt safe and comfortable throughout our journey. Overall, this tour of Sri Lanka exceeded all our expectations. The beauty of the island, combined with its rich culture and the kindness of its people, made for an unforgettable adventure. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a perfect blend of nature, history, and relaxation. Sri Lanka is a gem waiting to be explored!Show more

Well organized, absolutely reliable, friendly and helpful, they made everything possible. They also gave us an understanding of life and culture based on their knowledge as compatriots in an engaging and good way. They also showed us places that were not included in the program! We also liked the hotels very much, except in Ella. (no room service, sparse, the food was a bit unkind....) We appreciated the fact that we always had time to explore on our own during the tour.
