  we were able to see everything we have hoped for in the tour and more. Egypt has the most amazing history and we enjoyed being able to visit the pyramids, valley of the kings, Abu Simbel, Aswan, El Alamein and especially the new GEM. Our guide Walid Abuelnaga in Cairo was a fantastic guide, HIs knowledge and passion about Egyptian history was just amazing. He was patient with all our questions and a complete professional expert on everything. We would highly recommend Walid to anyone want to travel in Cairo and Giza. Hatem our dedicated driver in Cairo and to Alexandria was a considerate driver who looked after us very well everywhere we went. Our guide in Abu Simbel Tiger was really great and had a lot of information for us there. Moodie(Walid) at Aswan was also a fantastic guide and led us through Kom Ombo and Edfu with a great wealth of knowledge and looked after us really well. Ahmed Moussa at Luxor has a great depth of knowledge and passionate about Egyptian history which he was happy to share with us. Rami another excellent driver in Luxor looked after us very well. The tour was a great way to see the main Egyptian highlights in a short time. My only negative comment is about the horse and carriage ride to Edfu. I would not recommend it as the horses are half starved and not well treated. I would request a vehicle. The NIle cruise was a great way to travel and to see the lock at Isna in operation was also really interesting.

  The Cairo part was weaker than the Aswan_Luxor section. The cruise was great, excellent food, friendly staff, clean rooms. We had an amazing guide Mohamed, who managed every detail, and provided us with a clear historical understanding. He was honest and not pushing us to buy additional tours. There were however a few logistical issues, mainly related to Cairo and a lack of communication at times by the travel company about additional costs, ( so the tour does not include the cost of internal flight or train), as well as the entry to all museums which have to be paid for with a debit card. You also have to tip everywhere in cash, so it does turn out to be around 400 Euros more than the original price. I would recommend skipping Cairo and going straight to Luxor

  Communications were sent while we were in the air and had no internet. Guests need to know exactly where their driver meeting point is and what hotel they are staying at for night one. Guides were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The Nile cruise component was amazing as were visits to the pyramids and temples. Got what we expected but in a different order and had plenty of laughs along the way. The overnight sleeper train was an adventure back to the 1970s.

  Very good organisation and responsive agency. One great and one mediocre guide, amazing cars in Luxor and Aswan, good car in Cairo, car seat for a child was a big issue (never received). Cruise was fabulous.
