- KTKeaton· November 3rd, 2023Zaid, our driver and guide, was absolutely wonderful! His communication was crystal clear, and he was consistently punctual for pick-ups and drop-offs. Spending time with him was a pure delight. Samir possesses an extraordinary awareness of his surroundings, which not only makes him an exceptional driver in traffic but also enables him to cater to the needs of everyone in the vehicle. He intuitively knew when it was time for a break to ensure our comfort, always ensured we had access to fresh water, kept the vehicle impeccably clean and fragrant (I even asked to bring some of the air freshener home), and maintained the vehicle temperature at our preferred level. He was ever ready to stop for photos upon our request, and if he didn't already have a scenic stop planned, he quickly accommodated our wishes. Samir also ensured that our rest stops were clean and well-timed. When we were not together, he responded promptly to all our communications. I cannot express enough how much he contributed to our overall experience – he was an absolute joy! Ali, our guide in Fes, who led us through the medina, town, and tile tour, was also wonderful and a complete joy. He ensured that we were treated with respect during our purchases and provided a wealth of information about the town. Cheryfe encouraged us to sample items from the market as we explored and made sure we stayed well-hydrated with fresh water to avoid dehydration. It would be beneficial to have a written script outlining the tour's highlights. With the multitude of information and the bustling streets and activities around us, it was sometimes challenging to hear (which is not the fault of any of the guides) and even harder to retain everything due to information overload throughout our trip. Having a written manuscript for all the guides would be beneficial, as the situation was similar in each location.Show more
