- BKBarbara· November 24th, 2024The Vietnam portion of the tour was great. The Saigon hotel was undergoing renovations which made check in a bit awkward as they set up a temporary 'lobby' in their basement but the rooms were fine. However the Cambodia portion, especially given it was only 4 days to begin with, was a major disappointment in logistics. Friday we were originally scheduled to fly in the morning from VN to Cambodia & upon arrival were to have had the afternoon at the Killing Fields, a major sight most of us were looking forward to seeing. Due to a flight change, all we were able to do upon arrival was check in to the hotel. Saturday was already going to be a very full day capped off by a 6 hour drive to our next destination. However our guide, Matt, really wanted to do right by us & so added a stop to the Killing Fields after the other already scheduled stops. In order to do this, our other stops had to be shorter than planned. So basically he did his very best with a situation that was not of his making, rather he was trying to do right by us. As a result of these changes, we were on the go from about 8 a.m. until we walked into our Siam Reap hotel rooms about 11 p.m.,completely exhausted. This is beyond acceptable & the guide is to be commended for his responsibility to us in his efforts to make things right. I know for a fact the others were as disgruntled & as disappointed as I but they can write to you separately. Therefore due to this unacceptable turn of events I am requesting a refund, not a credit, for a day and a half of the Cambodia portion of the tour. This was such a letdown after my very positive Morocco tour with Wingbuddy. I have another tour coming up to Colombia & now am filled with trepidation & utter lack of confidence in Wingbuddy's abilities to handle unforeseen issues.Show moreTrip date: November 2024

- AMARY VACRATSIS· April 28th, 2024The only part of the trip that most of us did not like was the overnight train ride. The air conditioning was too high and we could not control it. I slept with a jacket,sweater and scarf. The toilet was terrible - ran out of toilet paper. Did not like the stopover in JFK - some terminals under construction, long lineups at customs, had to navigate from Terminal 1 to Terminal 4, lots of walking, waited in the plane for at least 30 minutes before it was cleared for takeoff. Really Wingbuddy Montreal based need to check with local travel agency in Vietnam… we had very bad and dangerous experience during our trip, it was flooding and the local tour guide rescue us with a tractor but not buddy asked next day how we were !! Also the local tour guide in Hanoi , she did not provide proper information on the city, only thing she was doing with some of us exchange money as part of her business . I will advise to windbuddy to mark very clear this trip higher movement ! And advice to local travel agency in Vietnam to improve their serviceShow more
