The entire itinerary was tailored around them, and the tours were incredibly private—just our family. We’ve done Gate1 tours before, which are more group-oriented with tight schedules. This was totally different—more like a good friend showing us around their hometown. We got to stop and try local food whenever something caught our eye, and if we were tired, we simply took a break. We received a detailed itinerary that included transportation, attraction tickets, a guide, and a driver!!! I had specific needs and wants and she managed to figure out an itinerary within my budget. Most of the downfalls of my experience in Japan were due to my lack of budget so it couldn't be helped that my experience wasn't everything it could have been. I was traveling with a child on my own and it was a very packed itinerary with some late nights. But we had a great time and everything went well. I told Amber our travel dates and how many days we’d be staying in Osaka and Tokyo. I also shared a list of all the places we wanted to visit, and Amber planned the entire itinerary for us. She took care of all our transfers and even booked tickets for the bullet train, theme parks, and more—taking a huge load off my shoulders. During our 10 days there, we got to see and experience so much. My only regret is not being able to stay longer, as my grandkids only had one week off school and had to return.
