In a personal note, tour guides should have an etiquette list to share with the passengers. For example common things like stop talking when the tour guide is giving instructions. - KHKathleen· May 2nd, 2024Be prepared to walk. The first and next to last day, you will be walking most of a 10 hour day, but you can get an Uber back to the hotel on your own. Eric was a terrific guide! Since you're always melding with other tour members in different countries, you also change guides. This tour had everything! We had 2 boat rides, a ferry across the English Channel, tour of a small castle, additional options along the way. Great food, along the way if you avoid the tourist traps, great local people and super amounts of things to do and see!! I have so many pictires!! We did things on the tour we wouldn't have known about on our own. The hotels were clean and mostly well equipped. Furniture was space in some rooms, but in the US, tables, chairs, beauros, etc are very common, but not in Europe.
