  There was a lot to see in Iceland for the few days that I was there and this tour did a good job of showing me the main sights. I was hesitant to drive in the rain and snow and these bus tours were a good solution. As a solo traveler, I had to pay a supplement but the hotel room I was given as part of the package was nice, breakfast was included and the bus picked up right in front of the hotel and was very prompt. The first day's tour was called something like "Golden Circe" and covered central/inland of west side of Iceland. That bus was very full (and was a large bus) but the guide did a good job of getting everyone back on the bus on time. I tend to prefer the smaller buses with ten passengers based on past day tour experiences. The tour to the south had some exciting weather but the scenery, especially the waterfalls, was spectacular. The trip to the north was on a nice, sunny day and was beautiful, as well. Each day, the passengers were different. These three tours run daily/often and can be booked independently of the accommodation if a more central location is preferred. Overall, I was happy with my choice and appreciated the convenience.

  The 6-day Circle Road Tour of Iceland took us to many spectacular sites as we drove around the country. The changes in scenery along the way never cased to impress us. Our tour director was very friendly and knowledgeable about many areas of Iceland and it's history. There were a few times when a local expert would be brought in to let know and experience even more about a particular location. The bus was very comfortable and the windows allowed for seeing the changing scenery as we ventured through the country. Our accommodations every evening were very nice. There was no feelings of being rushed as the daily travels weren't overly long.

  We had a great time in Iceland! We were very satisfied with the four day (really, three day) Bus Travel Iceland package and thought it was a perfect itinerary. We fell in love with the stunning beauty all around us there. All four guides were good, however, the Snaefellsnes tour day with our guide Ritchie J. (from the UK) was a truly amazing day. He went above and beyond and even created at WhatsApp chat group for all of us that day for adding pictures, information and connecting; this made the amazing day even more fun. I might add, now I know what everyone's talking about with their soup comments...YES THE SOUP WAS DELICIOUS!!! Our guide for our Northern Lights evening, was lovely, too. She was very informative and upbeat and tried her best to get the Lights to cooperate (though they didn't really that night). I'm happy to report that I was able to go back on my own a few nights later to where the bus took us, and there they were, and it was an UNREAL sight to see!!! We've gone with Tourradar a few times so far and haven't been disappointed yet. -Maralee & Lucas Trexler (March 25-27th, 2025), two happy travelers!
