The tour was highlight after highlight, so many different experiences in some of the most insanely beautiful places on the planet, all sorts of wildlife and stunning landscapes. I was on the 54-day tour that joined the 77-day tour when they were about a month in. Loved everyone on the tour, and we had such a range of people from all over the world, and from all ages (had a representative from every decade from 1940s to 2000s!!). I could not recommend Absolute Africa highly enough. Researched quite a bit before booking and nailed the choice with Absolute - best price, variety, flexibility and experiences. Pre-tour all the information was explained clearly and any extra queries I had were answered quickly. On tour - these guys were incredible. Wycliffe, Joseph and Hezron to start with, and then switched to Peter, Steve and Emias. Absolute legends one and all. Looked out for us the whole way, went above and beyond on many occasions to keep us safe and entertained, always with a smile and a positive attitude. Most of the campsites were absolutely wicked - and even the ones that were a bit dated were still better than I thought they would be. The unfenced camping nights (especially in the Okavango) were so much fun and experiences I’ll remember forever. It’s an adventure, not a luxury tour, so there are some long and tiring days, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Budget a bit extra and plan to do as many optionals as possible - all totally worth it. Already planning my next Africa trip and will be with Absolute for sure, and got a few mates keen to tag along after my awesome experience. Thanks to all for the spectacular adventure.Show more

Yes we were taken out of our comfort zone and taken to a wonderful country of Africa. We loved our camping the long drives racing to the next border crossing hoping you can get through. To singing in the bus enjoying the company of your follow passengers. We love the hotel rooms swimming pools bars and entertainment and talking around campsite while cooking. The highlight was the safaris. There is no words to describe the feeling when you say I heard of giraffes walking out of the trees into the clearing of the first time. Seeing a heard of lions and a baby cub drinking from its mum or seeing a leopard up the tree with its kill or just baking in the tree. Seeing a cheetahs sun baking in the sun right next to the safari truck without a care in the world. We did the Gorillaz to South Africa tour for 76 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone who is thinking of doing a camping safari. There’s only one thing I suggest, to remember where you are going too, what you doing, mentally repair yourself for that and enjoy. Yes the safari is gonna be hot, depending on the time of year, dusty if in Kenya if Kenya is still in an drought, but it makes a magnificent experience.l loved so much lm doing it all over again.
