I would have liked to have the chance to visit some food markets or markets in general which would offer what we tend to find in supermarkets or general shops in the Western world and have the odd contact with the locals (instead of just tourist shops), which I could have asked about but you sometimes feel a little bit rushed. Most guides probably want to make sure they have finished by a certain time. I still think they at times talk a little bit fast. The meals were fairly good in the main although if the odd Western dish could be introduced it in the menu it would be nice especially when you are feeling a bit sick as spices and oily food do not help. Even if you ask for small amount of spices you sometimes still end up with fairly spicy food!
