- Day 1
CATANIA
Begin your Sicily journey in Catania. The historic center is easy to walk around. Visit Piazza Duomo to see the iconic Elephant Fountain. Stop by La Pescheria fish market in the early morning when it's bustling with activity.
- Days 2-3
SYRACUSE, NOTO & RAGUSA
Drive one hour to Syracuse and visit the Archaeological Park of Neapolis. Go before 11 AM to skip the strongest sun. Next up is Noto, with its beautiful golden limestone buildings. The late afternoon light makes them look incredible. Stay overnight in Ragusa. Wear good shoes for walking the steep streets of Ragusa Ibla.

AGRIGENTO & PALERMO
Visit the Valley of Temples in Agrigento right when it opens at 8:30 AM. On your way to Palermo, take a break at Marsala's salt pans. The windmills look beautiful at sunset. In Palermo, stay near Quattro Canti for easy sightseeing. Book the Palatine Chapel ahead to avoid waiting in line.

CEFALÙ & RETURN TO CATANIA
Start early for Cefalù, an hour from Palermo. Climb La Rocca in the morning before it gets hot. The climb takes about 45 minutes. Back in Catania, try some granita with brioche. The locals love Caffè Savia near Villa Bellini.
- Days 7-8
MOUNT ETNA & TAORMINA
Pack layers for Etna. The top is usually 10°C cooler than the bottom. Book your cable car tickets (€30) early. Visit Taormina's Greek Theater around 6 PM when the crowds thin out and the sunset views are best.

EXPLORING TAORMINA & SURROUNDS
Take an early trip to Isola Bella beach by cable car. Walk up to Castelmola for amazing views. It's steep but worth it. Visit Savoca to see Bar Vitelli from "The Godfather" movie set.

- Sensational Sicily
Tour was excellent, hotels very good but communication could improve. Some of my group were on a WhatsApp connection and were receiving communication but not me. Also I had to ask about where to meet etc on first night. I also wasn’t told that my last day would be a private tour and to meet the guide at 9.00 am. Luckily she persevered in searching for me and I ended up having a fantastic day.

The hotels were great. The evening meals were sometimes disappointing. The buses were ,immaculate and comfortable. Our guide was a delight(Placido). His knowledge of Sicily and his love of his country made him a good guide. His sense of humour made his information much more compatible and interesting. The trip,was good value. I did think some of the days were pretty long and I would have enjoyed more free time but I would not have wanted to miss anything of what we saw. Maybe a longer more leisurely tour?
