A 14-day route covers 7 Sicilian cities, from Palermo's Arab-Norman architecture to Taormina's Greek theatre. Features 3 nights in Marsala, 2 nights each on Salina Island and in Taormina. Highlights include Valley of the Temples, Mount Etna off-roading, and Stagnone Lagoon sailing, at approx. $360 per day including most meals.
- Days 1-3
Palermo
Start in Sicily's capital city. Visit Palermo's vibrant markets before 9 AM to experience the authentic local atmosphere and sample street food. Pack a light jacket for Monreale Cathedral, which stays cool inside year-round. Visit the Byzantine mosaics in late afternoon for the best lighting. The panoramic terrace has old narrow steps, so wear shoes with good grip.
- Days 4-6
Marsala Region
Drive 2 hours along the coast from Palermo to Marsala. This area is perfect for exploring western Sicily's wine country. Watch the sunset at Stagnone Lagoon's salt pans but bring mosquito spray in summer. If you're planning a Favignana trip, take the first hydrofoil at 9 AM from Marsala port to get the most out of your day.
- Day 7
Agrigento Valley of Temples
- Days 8-9
Cefalù Coast
- Days 10-11
Isle of Salina
- Days 12-14

What people love about 2 Week Sicily Tours
- New Tour The Best of Sicily & Malta - 11 Days
Sicily tour was very good. Angelo-the tour guide is avery good guide and a very good person. I just recommend background i for to be brief or provide them during the bus drive so that we can have plenty of free time in each area. Malta trip is okay-except that the itinerary is not followed by the guide. In addition-it's too much detail in one location that shortens the time to see more and prevents having free time.
- Sicily & Malta Signature
It was a wonderful trip. Seeing this much of Sicily and Malta made it worthwhile. Sights unbelievable. The tour leader Franco did his best to accommodate three languages. That was difficult at times to please everyone. The other guides also had that problem. I wish it could have been in English only. I believe all people on this tour speak English. That is the only negative part of the tour. I feel we lost valuable time because of the language barrier. Malta was fantastic. We felt like VIP'S. Our guide and drivers accommodated us. Dennis was great, his knowledge of history and facts to be admired. I would recommend this tour to all. Health wise it is not for any handicaps. Be healthy. We did it without difficulties, my husband is 85 and I am 77.
- Sicilian Secrets - Tour of Sicily and Malta 11 days
Pace of the tour was great. Hotels were in excellent locations. Angelo our tour guide was sentational. Would recommend adding an extra night on Agrigento so time could be allocated to use beach and hotel facilities.
