What people love about 2 week Turkey tours
- Turkey Discovered - 14 Days
There really aren't words to describe how much I loved this tour. The itineray was so well designed to cover a the many many wonders both ancient and natural that Turkey has to offer. It really is the worlds largest museum! The guide we had could not have possibility been any more amazing, his knowledge, passion, expertise, enthusiasm and personality made this tour the unforgettable experience it was. I did this as a solo traveller and was blessed with the most wonderful kindhearted group of people I could have hopped for. I was the youngest too (31), but the average age was probably 45-60 and mostly couples. The accommodation standard on this tour was very high often 5 star. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour and On The Go Tours for Turkey.
- Best of Turkey (Summer, 14 Days) (16 destinations)
Best of Turkey tour was exceptional. In15 days we definitely covered the best of Turkey, seeing ancient ruins, Gallipoli, Biblical sites and much more. We sampled the local food and the markets and had opportunities to see the craftsmen at work. Our travel director made everything seem easy for us, he interpreted what we saw, translated for us, liased for us with our purchases and sorted out any problem we had, with tack and skill.
- 14 Days - Highlights of Turkey&Blue Escape
All in all, I am happy with the tour. Turkish people are very nice and restaurants are everywhere, prices are reasonable due to the exchange rate at the moment. Good thing about this tour is that it is a small group. Tour agent is quite responsive before and during the tour. Here are some feedbacks I like to offer: 1. Airport pick up at Istanbul were not ideal. The sign is not always visible. The guy has the sign is probably doing pick up for several companies and frequently sending people to the car so may not always there. 2. As it is a small group, the tour guide/arrangement is different at each stop. Bottled water should be provided on bus but never got any except last bus from Fethiye to Dalaman. Coach from Pamukkale to Fethiye stated on would provide drink and tv but had none. 3. Last leg of Boat cruise is not up to standard compared with the rest of the tour. Food is pretty good but the narrower than single mattress in the cabin is TOO small for 2 persons to sleep in. The size of the boat should only accept 4 people instead of 6 people. 2 of my friends left the boat after first day. 4. Stay in town of Goreme instead of Urgup would be better for self exploring of the area but Hotel Fresco Cave is excellent. It is the best hotel on the tour! Thank you for selecting the hotel. Thanks Danny
