- JDjason· February 7th, 2025The Marangu Route is ideal for those who prefer a shorter trek with comfortable accommodations. Staying in huts was a bonus, especially during cold nights at higher altitudes. The route itself was beautiful, with lush forests and alpine meadows leading to the summit. Although summit night was a challenge, our guides kept us motivated, and reaching Uhuru Peak was an incredible experience.Show moreTrip date: October 2024
- NMnyundo· February 7th, 2025The Marangu Route is a great option for those who want a more comfortable climb. Staying in huts made a huge difference, especially on cold nights. The trek was well-paced, with enough time to rest and take in the beautiful surroundings. The summit night was challenging, but the feeling of reaching Uhuru Peak was beyond words. It’s a memory I’ll cherish forever.Show moreTrip date: December 2023
- JAjamal· February 5th, 2025The Marangu Route is perfect for anyone who wants a comfortable trekking experience. Staying in huts instead of tents was a big plus, especially during the colder nights. The route itself is beautiful, with lush forests and rocky trails leading up to the summit. The final push to Uhuru Peak was tough, but the feeling of standing on top of Africa was beyond words. This is a great route for first-time trekkers.Show moreTrip date: January 2023
- JDjohn· February 4th, 2025I chose the Marangu Route because I liked the idea of staying in huts instead of tents, and it did not disappoint! The huts were comfortable, and I enjoyed meeting other trekkers in the communal dining areas. This route is sometimes labeled as “easier,” but don’t be fooled—the rapid ascent makes acclimatization more challenging. However, the beautiful rainforest, stunning alpine zones, and the final push to the summit made the entire journey worthwhile.Show moreTrip date: March 2024
- JMjoseph· February 3rd, 2025The Marangu Route, often called the “Coca-Cola Route,” is a great choice for those who prefer hut accommodations over camping. While it’s sometimes considered “easier” because of the shorter duration, the rapid ascent makes proper acclimatization essential. The trek was challenging yet rewarding, with stops at iconic points like Mandara and Kibo Huts. The scenery changed dramatically, from tropical forests to rocky alpine deserts. The final summit night was difficult but exhilarating, and the sunrise view from Uhuru Peak made it all worthwhile.Show moreKilimanjaro Wonders Expedition Safari commented on this reviewhi joseph, this was really the enjoyable moments and unforgetable moments please consider us in all your routes and we shall provide the best services everTrip date: April 2024
