  Itinerary very busy so would be better if it was over a few more days with some down time. Hotels generally of a good standard with the standout accomodation the Steigenberger Nile Palace at Luxor. Unfortunately the boat , the Jaz Crown Prince was shabby and tired although staff and service were good. Boat is in desperate need of a refurb.

  This tour was absolutely incredible. It’s exceeded my expectations. Michael was there to pick us up at the airport and guide us through all the way to our hotel. He was there each time we landed at Cairo airport and took off. He made everything seamless. Michael was our Egyptologist in Cairo. He was just wonderful and thoughtful. Ibrahim was our Egyptologist from Luxor to Aswan. Such an amazing, kind and generous person. Both our Egyptologists were a wealth of knowledge and passionately shared this with us. We enjoyed their humour and respectful manner. The dahabiya was truly magical and the crew were exceptional. I would recommend this tour to anyone who would like a truly memorable tour in Egypt

  5 stars for the seamless operation, initiated by Michael and his team in Aswan and Luxor. The service was friendly, professional and very supportive. Michael in Cairo and Ibrahim in Luxor/Aswan were guides extraordinaire. Both were knowledgeable and passionate, both were constantly on the look out for the best opportunity for us. I thoroughly enjoyed their company and kindnesses. They brought Egypt alive for us and we now have precious memories thanks to them. Ibrahim is definitely the rock star of the south! Thank you.

  My brother and I just returned from Egypt and this tour with Vacations to Go is by far one of the best guided tours I have ever done. I've done at least 15 of them and this was my first with Vacations to Go. The itinerary covered all the main places we wanted to see including some off the beaten path with the lesser visited Denderah and Abydos but so well worth it. We also wanted to see the new GEM as well as the bent pyramid but it was not included in the itinerary. Vacations to Go was able to make it possible so we went a day early and saw the new museum which was spectacular, even though it is still in it's soft opening phase. Still so worth the visit because there's lots to see. We also saw the Bent and Red pyramids If you are looking for a tour of Egypt that covers all the main sites as well as some extras, the 11-day Cairo, Cruise, Abu Simbel, Dendara, Abydos and Alexandria tour is perfect. We chose this tour because it was one of the few itineraries we could find that included a visit to Dendara and Abydos. Both are a bit off the beaten path but so well worth the visit and not nearly as busy. It was our first time travelling with Vacations To Go Travel and it was one of the best tours we’ve ever done. They provided an amazing experience right from the beginning when we were met on arrival at the airport by their rep Michael, who guided us smoothly through Customs, until we were dropped off at the airport, again by Michael, at the end of the tour. He was very friendly and accommodating. He provided his phone # and responded very quickly to all messages. We planned to do the optional balloon ride and Michael took care of making the reservations for us. The itinerary included a visit to the Giza Pyramids as well as the Step Pyramid in Saqqara but we also wanted to visit the Red and Bent Pyramids, which was not included in the itinerary. We also wanted to see the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). When we asked if it was possible to include this with the tour package when we were booking the tour Vacations to Go said it was no problem and made all the arrangements. We decided to go a day early so it could be included. The old Museum still has a lot to see and is worth the visit but the new GEM is a must see, even though it was still considered to be in its soft opening phase and not all exhibits are yet open to the public. There was still a lot to see and the building is spectacular. The service and attention to detail from Vacations To Go Travel was first class all the way. The tour guides were Egyptologists and extremely knowledgeable. Tamer was our guide for the first few days in Cairo. Everywhere we went everyone kept telling us he was the best, and we had to agree. He seemed to know everyone. When we went to see the Step Pyramid he also took us to see a nearby smaller tomb that would not have been possible to see with a larger group. Michael dropped us off at the airport for our flight to Aswan and we were met by another rep at the airport there on arrival. Our guide for the next few days during our time in Luxor and Aswan as well as during the Nile cruise, was Mansour and he was also excellent. Like Tamer, he was extremely knowledgeable and also seemed to know everyone wherever we went. Both provided expert details for all the places we visited and also gave us plenty of free time to roam afterwards to take as many photos as we wanted. They also happily played photographer everywhere we went and took some great shots that we wouldn’t have been able to get otherwise. When we went to Abu Simbel, which was included in the itinerary, Mansour along with our excellent driver, was able to get us there ahead of all the many buses so we were able to visit the temples before the crowds arrived and got some great pictures both inside and out. Our balloon ride was scheduled for our last day in Luxor but Mansour suggested we move it up a couple of days to ensure we would be able to do it after it had been cancelled one day due to winds. Little details like that all add up to make for an exceptional experience. When we visited the Nubian Village, another included excursion, we walked through the entire village looking at all the colorful painted buildings while waiting for our restaurant to open for dinner. It was a very memorable experience. Sara was with us for our last full day in Eqypt when we went to Alexandria. While we didn’t spend as much time with her we really enjoyed our day together. She took us to a local restaurant with the most incredible view and some of the best fish I have ever tasted. All of the guides were extremely friendly and so easy to get along with. They were a pleasure to have. I can’t forget to mention the drivers. I don’t remember their names but they all got us through the chaotic traffic safely and with ease. Another point worth mentioning is the food. While the buffet breakfasts and dinners at the hotel were delicious and offered a lot of choice, lunches were the best. Tamer, Mansour and Sara took us to local restaurants and suggested we try some of the local dishes. The food was amazing. All in all, the trip was excellent. Everyone we dealt with were so professional and yet very friendly. This was our second trip to this wonderful country and this tour with Vacations To Go Travel makes us want to go back again for a third time.

  For me when I think of travel and come unto the platform of Tour Radar, there's only one tour agency that is right for me and comes to mind. And that is "VACATIONS TO GO!" They have my absolute fealty. Even before the tour begins VACATIONS TO GO is completely engaging, cordial, caring,helpful at every step of the process. Making one feel way more than just a client and customer satisfaction and experience is the number one concern. Any questions submitted or asked were duly responded to right away. My most recent travel with was Egypt and soon as I stepped off the plane and made it into the airport was I welcomed and waiting was my reception person Michael, whom I might add has one of the greatest personalities and a spirit that is totally service based. Totally makes sure you are taken care of from bags, visa, to getting through passport clearance and safely to lodging. VACATIONS TO GO truly has the best tour guide via a man named Ibrahim. Whenever I am in Egypt with VACATIONS TO GO, I request him, his knowledge base is vast and his heart is even bigger. The respect and admiration Ibrahim puts into his detail is way beyond call of duty and the respect and admiration he receives from his peers and others who are tour guides is just mind blowing. Ibrahim has to be on top 5 for tour guides for Egypt. I enjoyed my trip to Egypt with VACATIONS TO GO and was even able to go to some sites that were not part of my initial itinerary such as Temple of Kalapsha which requires government or military approval and Dashur was added. My lodging was excellent from Aswan, Cairo, Luxor, it was nothing but 5 star lodging with most meals included. And one driver named Mahmoud who I have met couple years ago is just an exceptional driver and a great man. This tour was great! And I appreciate the new people I was able to meet and work with on this tour such as Ahmad who welcomed me in Aswan and checked in on me daily, and tour guide referred to as Benboe. I am way more than happy with VACATIONS TO GO and can't wait to plan my next tour with them.

  Excellent itinerary, exploring all of Egypt. Our tour guides Abanoub and Ibrahim were absolutely fantastic! They were incredibly knowledgeable and went the extra mile to show us hidden treasures. It was clear that they had a love and passion for Egyptian history which worked well for us! They also catered to our specific interests such as nightime visits to temples, sacred areas in churches and temples, shopping for authentic handicraft or experiencing the local cuisine. I also recommend the hot air balloon adventure! The hotel accomodation and Nile cruise ship were top class, all the staff were very friendly. Food everywhere was varied and exquisite! The flights and bookings were well managed by the company representative Michael, who always had a smile on his face was keen to make sure all flows smoothly. All in all we had a great time and if you really want to experience true Egypt with its rich culture, history and friendly people I would recommend this tour in a heartbeat. For that we are incredibly thankful to all the team and for sure we shall return to Egypt!

  About 8 years ago, I first went to Egypt and did my booking with Vacation To Go Travel for my tour. I had an outstanding experience and created long life friends with the tour guides and owner. This year took my entire family, my parents who are in their late 70s and my little one who is four years old and we had the best time ever and memories for a lifetime! Every single aspect from arrival at the airport, ttransfers, hotel accommodations, and of course, visiting the most amazing sites with the best guides is all carefully planned and executed with perfection! This year I made new friends: Michael, Tamir and others along the way.. and got to see my friend and wonderful guide Mansour! Best travel experience ever!!! Egypt is safe to travel and having traveled around the world nothing compares to the Ancient Egyptian civilization.
