Mark· January 2nd, 2019I arrived in Kathmandu and was thoroughly taken care of by the tour operator Bhagwat Simkhada who organised everything from start to finish, including trekking equipment and all A to B's. My Sherpa Pemba was indispensable and I literally wouldn't have completed the trek without him, used as he was to altitude and carrying the bulk of my luggage. The guest houses I stayed in were all good - though I advise checking for avoidable drafts before you confirm a night's stay! Also be aware that it is often better to order local dishes than western food, which they often have their own interpretation of in Nepal! This is a great short way into trekking in Nepal and perfect if you don't have time for a longer stay.
