Luang Prabang was enchanting—early morning almsgiving, boat ride to Pak Ou Caves, and a surprise private dinner set up by the river (which our guide helped arrange!). Each stop felt personal and never rushed. In Vientiane, we visited temples and learned a lot about Lao history and Buddhism. What stood out was how thoughtful everything was—from hotel choices to how the guide gave us space as a couple. Laos doesn’t get as much attention as other countries in Southeast Asia, but it’s a gem—quiet, romantic, and deeply moving.Show more
- Cole· April 17th, 2025Peaceful, scenic, and surprisingly emotional. After multiple trips to Southeast Asia, we didn’t expect Laos to move us the way it did. This 6-day tour took us from the capital to the mountains, and every stop had its own charm. Vientiane was calm and uncrowded, and it gave us time to adjust and learn about Laos’ history. Vang Vieng was gorgeous—caves, rivers, and rice fields everywhere. We biked through the countryside, and it felt like time had slowed down. The best part, though, was Luang Prabang. We’re not usually emotional travelers, but there’s something about that town—the monks, the quiet side streets, the Mekong at sunset—that just hits differently. Kuang Si Waterfall was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend this tour if you want something quieter and more meaningful in Southeast Asia.Show more
- Cathryn· April 15th, 2025This 4-day tour gave us a great introduction to southern Laos. From the moment we arrived in Pakse, everything was taken care of smoothly. Wat Phou was stunning — we visited in the morning when it was quiet and had plenty of time to explore. Then heading down to the 4,000 Islands, we stayed on Khong Island, which was such a peaceful spot to unwind. The boat rides along the Mekong were calming, and we loved visiting small villages and waterfalls like Khon Phapheng. The local food, especially the grilled fish and sticky rice, was delicious. It was a perfect short getaway!Show more
